"We had a lovely stay and would choose it again for our future trips. The room amenities and layout were extremely convenient for a young family with a child - separate bedroom with a king size bed for the kids, a kitchenette and dining table, and another king bed in the main living space. Bathroom was fantastic but could have used a proper clean (pink grime around shower and floors). The management did a great job tastefully decorating and picking the items to invest in given the price point. Our 3 year old loved the unlimited mini golf too, especially on drizzling days. The front staff was amazing too, super friendly. AND there is guest laundry on site. Only feedback would be to provide stools for families with young children so they can use the bathroom sink to wash their hands and teeth, and climb onto the toilet themselves - $7 from Ikea would be perfect and they're black so they'd match your decor. Also, some oven mitts and trivets so guests don't damage your countertops and stovetop! Fantastic place especially for young families!"

"The suite was clean although there were several deficiencies in the room. One of the living room lamps was missing the on/off switch. The fireplace was missing the remote control. Upon acquiring a remote control from the front desk, the fireplace did not light or work (no pilot light or?). The living room furnishing were sparse and could use some additional pieces such as a foot stool and an additional side table or comfortable chair. Or perhaps something with some better ambience like a plant or similar?"

"This is a great little property and I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a getaway in the Parksville area. The unit was clean and nicely furnished. We did not cook meals, but had we decided to there was absolutely everything we needed . . and more. The beach is a short walk away, a few restaurants nearby, and good location for day trips . . Englishman River Falls is a lovely little hike."
