Family wedding weekend
We enjoyed our stay at the Riverside Point Resort House! We were in town for a family wedding and it worked out great! It was nice that we could all comfortably stay in the same home and gave gathering space for games and relaxing in between the wedding festivities.

Great Location
This spacious house with an attached game room was perfect for our wintertime family getaway with 3 dogs, although more seating in the livingroom would have been nice. A faulty thermostat was handled quickly and efficiently by the manager. The location is within easy walking distance to downtown and a large park.

We had a great time with our family coming from three different states. Great time! Coin operated laundry was a drawback. We went through a lot of quarters to get towels dry. Otherwise great time!

Riverside Resort
First of all the managers were great! Very helpful! The description failed to mention that we were very close to the cabins and that the laundry was “coin” laundry not in our house as we assumed. The office was on the end of our house, so many guests came knocking on our door with questions. The game room was also in the basement with the laundry. So we were happy it wasn’t a busy week there. The pictures of the rooms were misleading, with only 1 window air conditioning unit upstairs so it was extremely warm in the other sleeping areas. We also were surprised to find the “dog” fenced in area on the south end of the house. Again we were glad there weren’t many dogs there while we were. The upstairs shower door kept falling off, we should have told the managers but forgot.

Thanks for staying. We really enjoyed meeting you. It s a large property the back of the house is about 20 feet from the beginning. If the cabins but the front yard is also about 100’x 100’ and the home has excellent privacy. We will make sure to clarify that the laundry is coin operated, thanks for the feedback. We will look into adding additional AC units upstairs.. To clarify, fenced in side yard next to the house of for use by people renting the house only. We will look at the shower head. Thanks again for staying with us!

Three blocks from downtown so food shopping was close. Nice outside patio with gas firepit.
Was a great place for a family getaway. Water access was good with canoes and life jackets provided. Pontoon was easy to rent and in nice condition. Caretaker on property was very helpful.
