"Hotel Goldener was amazing. Chiusa is one of my favorite towns in Italy, with amazing restaurants and cafes all in walking distance with not much crowd. Good spa and jacuzzi. The staff was very friendly."

"Place is nice and in a quaint little town rather than a tourist trap. Best grocery store is 20 minutes away in Ortisei. Check in was the biggest problem. Couldn’t locate the key box. Think there’s a solution…. If you come from the west, do look for the painted words Haus Anika. Turn right before it down a semi steep hill. You’ll quickly come to a fork: left/up to a parking lot or right down a narrow driveway. Go left into the open lot. Park as close to the end as possible. Get out of your car. Face away from the buildings in front of you and walk to the far left corner of the lot. Look down over the edge. You should see a building with the three black key boxes near a door. The middle one is what you’re looking for. Go walk down the alleyway/driveway to that box. As you do so, you’ll pass the underground garage on your left. When you retrieve the keys, use the one with an orange end to open the door. Park in the spot noted in the instructions. Unpack your stuff and head to the rental, closing the garage door with the key behind you as you go.If you come from the east, the left turn is just past the first bus stop on your left as you enter the town. That’s not as easy because you can’t see the Anika painted on the building when going that direction. Just be looking for it as soon as you enter Laion.Hope that helps."

"Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel. The hotel is cozy and conveniently located on the road leading to many tourist attractions. The rooms are modern, stylish, and very clean. The bathroom was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows. The hotel offers easy access to the parking area, pool, and restaurant. Service was friendly and professional throughout our stay. Breakfast was good, although not exceptional. Hot options included omelets and boiled eggs. There was a wide selection of cereals, muesli, and granola, but the choice of vegetables for making a salad was somewhat limited. One of the highlights was the rooftop pool on the fourth floor, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. A few minor drawbacks: the Wi‑Fi signal in our room was extremely weak, and I ended up using mobile data most of the time. I reported the issue at reception, and although I was told it would be fixed, I did not notice any improvement. Also, there was no phone in the room to contact reception, which meant going downstairs whenever we needed assistance. Finally, our room was at ground level, and everyone walking to and from the parking area passed directly by our windows. This reduced privacy considerably and forced us to keep the curtains closed most of the time."

"This was such an adorable little hotel in a cute little town! The rooms were excellent and felt so cozy. The bathrooms were spacious and large enough to accommodate larger individuals. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome. We opted to eat in the restaurant for dinner and were quite happy with the food and especially the dessert assortment, which was a tower of several desserts!! Stay here! Enjoy the small town and the people here!!"
