Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Hotel was clean and rooms as expected. Check in was tricky. I had booked for 7 people but had to make two name changes. I had contacted Hotels.com and they said it was done however on arrival the group couldn't access the rooms they needed.
Also, when we came for breakfast alter on (just before 10) there were ants crawling on the surfaces with very little covered over.
It was amazing and a great breakfast. They don't run the A/C until the summer. That made the room somewhat stuffy.

For a short stay, this hotel was good enough! Clean and modern and lovely staff. Unfortunately during our stay the elevator was out of service, and our room was on the third floor which was not great. Also the doors in our room did not close properly so this could do with fixing! Overall it was a pleasant experience - lots of options for breakfast too although we did think 18 euros each was a little pricey,
A good stay in Paris - Saint Cloud
The Mercure hotel is delivering to it's usual standard. Overall very OK, but with two minor remarks:
1. It could be a water refilling station on the hotel. (OK, there are supermarkets within 150 m).
2. What I really missed is a work lamp at the desk. Even in summer, the room can be dark in the evening, when you need to work.
10 minutes (partly uphill/downhill) walk to the Saint Cloud station.
But all other OK.

OK but not special
Staff were very helpful, and you can walk to restaurants and stores. Bank across the street with a cash machine. Easy to get an Uber, or walk to the Bois de Boulogne. Not sure otherwise how this merits a 4-star rating. No restaurant, no way to find snacks if you get in late. Breakfast is adequate (fresh bread was good if your waistline can manage it, but scrambled eggs seemed like they were made from powder), coffee was little pods. Rooms are teeny, pillows felt like folded hard towels. No shampoo in the room, so bring your own. No happy people in the bar like in the picture, but I wasn't there on a Friday or Saturday night.
It's a small, cosy hotel unlike other accor hotels I've stayed in the past. The room was decent and clean, the beds were comfortable athough the single bed in one of the rooms we had was a bit squeaky. There was no milk provided in the room to make tea. The reception staff were helpful and provided us when we needed to but it was quite inconvenient to get to ask for it everytime we wanted to make tea in the room. The breakfast was minimal with not much variety and you had to make your own eggs if you wanted to. On the last day of our stay we went slightly late to have breakfast (breakfast timings were until 10 and we went at 930) and there was no sliced bread or eggs left for us and the reception said no more stock of anything else. Very annoying as they should have some details as to how many people were staying for breakfast and everyone should have had a good breakfast provision. The saint cloud train station was walkable under 10 mins to travel via train. We used it to get to Disneyland which was a convenient long journey with 1 change at La defense. Other days of our stay we used Uber to get to Eiffel tower (around 6 miles) although it's visible from the train station level 1 at saint cloud. There is a huge national estate nearby (20 mins walk to get to it from the hotel and is quite nice if you want to explore the estate on foot, although quite tiring).
I had a a great stay in the Mercure.
From the Check-in to the Room and breakfeast- all was great. Especially memorable was the breakfest with lots of selection. Will chose the mercure again for my next trip to St.Cloud.
As always very nice
Staff great
Breakfast very good
But they used to make individual pots of coffee for each table
Now machine coffee and not very good.
You can ask but feel like they don’t really want to do
But overall very nice in a great town
The rooms were very clean and l could open the windows! I wish the rooms had mugs instead of paper cups for coffee and also microwave inside the room would be better!
Our toilet was so small that we could barely sit properly on it, the bathroom sink did not drain properly and would take 10 minutes each time, the toilet did not flush on multiple occasions, I ended up with dried mucus on my bedding when it was changed, no fridge in the room. Very limited breakfast options, one good thing was the water that was available for refilling bottles, oh and the reception desk was mostly unmanned, especially late evenings or early mornings.
