Stay was brilliant, very clean and quiet hotel, swift check-in and check-out. Very well located a few minutes away from the Metro with a bus stop literally outside the hotel and restaurants close by. Breakfast was ok, could have been a bit better though with freshly cooked items.

Great budget option in a convenient, safe location in Paris. Close to metro, train and bus stops. Not super touristic yet full of bars and restaurants around. Aircon in our room was a blessing. Small room, but sufficient for Paris standards. Very clean!

The Transcontinental is a quaint hotel and is in a relatively quiet area which suited us perfectly. The breakfasts are excellent. The only real downside is the size (tiny) and age (old) of the lift.

Paris tends to cost a lot, wherever you go. With Hotel Transcontinental, you get a pretty good package deal. The shower ended up being slightly bigger than I expected. The complimentary breakfast was rather enjoyable, albeit kind of simple (so grab that yogurt). The customer service is top notch. The area is located near a great pizza place and a nice grocery store. If you stay here, you won't regret it.

Good for a 2-stars in Paris. Clean room, hot water easy to regulate. Typical Parisian breakfast with bread, pastries, dairy products, no grains and no fresh fruits. As usual in Paris, narrow spaces, short bed (I'm 1,75 metres tall, so I'm not a giant...) but in general, much better than average, for a 2 stars.

This hotel is in a completely pleasant, safe, walkable, primarily residential neighborhood. There are lots of dining, bar, & food resources - like neighborhood bistros open late and Sunday/Monday. My room faced the main street that was busy during the day but very quiet at night for excellent sleeping! Short, flat walks to 2 Metro stops. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I speak only English. Their English is excellent.

Nice hotel in great location.

A small but comfortable room in a conveniently situated hotel, near a Metro station and with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Our room was at the back of the hotel, so nice and quiet. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Would happily stay here again.

Great Hotel and Location!

A great hotel in the heart of Paris. You are about a 10 minute walk from most major Metro lines, and the rooms are tiny, but well appointed, with comfy beds and excellent WiFi. The breakfast was quite delightful as well. Highly recommended.
