"Room was very clean the host was very prompt to any questions or concerns, location was close to the marina area maybe a 10-15 walk did 2 great boat tour. He even gave us a ride to the train station thank you again. We enjoyed La Spezia. "

The hotel is a bit far away from the train station in a not that interesting area, but you could walk to the ferries to Cinque Terre and there was a bus stop close by where you could catch a bus to Leriche or the train station in La Spezia. "1) The design is terrible (per my taste), even the poor pictures hanging on the walls gang not vertically. Lia, an art collector who's name this hotel is named after, would be offended. 2) They don't allow to leave luggage in a store room after checking out! I had to go from there to Cinque Terre. What can one do there with a suitcase?! Scandalous."
