"Let’s get the slight negatives out of the way first. 1) It’s a LONG way from the city and is over an hour on public transport. "Hotel is about 20miles from the main tourist attractions in Rome. Room was clean, basic setup to sleep and shower, nothing fancy. Staff was VERY nice and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was light. A/C worked fine. Bus to the local train station stops right in front of hotel. To get from Massimino to Rome is about a ten minute bus ride to the hote then about an hour train ride into central Rome."

"This is a perfect place for genuine Italian flare. The grounds of this villa are beautiful. The rooms are miniature villas and are right next to the restaurant. The restaurant is an elegant and romantic setting with doors swinging open to the garden area as well as outdoor seating. Most important is the excellent quality of the food!
