"Our ferry was postponed due to weather so we had an unexpected night in Santander. What a silver lining this turned out to be! Hotel Chiqui’s location is spot on, improved only by the excellent service we received from the very helpful staff - a huge shout out to Jeimy and Cristina in particular who were both lovely. All of the hotel’s rooms face the sea - we had booked a basic room, but were upgraded to one with a balcony. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, everything you need for a good stay. The breakfast, at 15€, was amazing. There was plenty of choice and it was good quality. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay there again next time we’re in Santander. "

"The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel was clean and looked lovely. It is well located between the town and the beaches. There were plenty of options for breakfast. The provision of an emergency toiletries kit was very thoughtful, just in case we had forgotten to pack something."

"A charming manager who greeted us and also managed the breakfast buffet - extremely hard working. Our room was immaculate and the location good. Only slight downside was that there was no parking at the hotel but there was free onsite parking nearby. "
