"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel - and I let the reception staff know how much we liked it on checking out. The beds were comfortable, the shower was efficient and it was good to have two chairs in the room to relax in. I particularly liked the breakfast buffet. No hot dishes but that was fine with me. "This is a fantastic little B&B. The lady running the place was ever so friendly, helpful and patient with our efforts to communicate in Spanish. Each room has its own private entrance, so you feel like you have your privacy. "The Citrea is a lovely hotel in Santander. A short walk from the Modern Art Museum (not the Botin Centre) and the town hall and the bus station, through the tunnel. Having been to Santander we knew this wasn't far so no issues. The room was cozy, but had plenty of storage cupboards. The air conditioning was absolutely needed in the heat of the summer, would go again just for this. The staff were fantastic, supporting us with every ask and arranged a late checkout on our departure day."
