"Bambuda is fantastic. The location is excellent with breathtaking views of the mountains & countryside. The food in the restaurant is excellent & there are numerous options at all times of the day. The service at the front desk & at the restaurant are prefect: helpful, friendly, & enthusiastic. Taxi rides from the hotel to a variety of destinations are easy to get & inexpensive. I had a cabin with a balcony. It felt like a cabin in the mountains but with strong hot water in the shower. "

"Cool location in the lush jungle with walking paths and warm water! I only lost a little skin on the waterslide, but still so fun! The included hike to hospital point was surprisingly perfect. Nightime underwater glow worms were a trip! I didn’t book this room, but they put me in a sea urchin shaped upsides pool, it was cool. The second night I did get eaten alive by mosquitoes (from under the door and ceiling circle air vent wasn't a perfect closure. Fan was very needed, but still a bit hot one...

"Lovely ocean view suite which was nice, quiet and peaceful to watch the days go by while working. Although early check-in wasn't available, there is luggage storage and access to the common lounge/restaurant area which was a beautifully decorated space to enjoy with the water swing, floaties and access to swim right from the deck. The front desk team were extremely friendly and helpful with checking in on stay and providing local information with tours. I loved that there was filtered water...

"Loved the TeePee huts in the canopy. Pure relaxation and pristine quiet. Staff was topknotch and always involved with the guests. Worthy of a redo but we will fly into Bocas next time. Driving to Almirante was challenging and lengthy."

"It was a good stay for the short time I was there in between connecting flights. Although, there was someone up in our room every hour or so which was really noisy considering I didn’t even have a curtain to cover my bunk. "

"Check in was very awkward we waited outside the gate on street for 15min...waiting dor someone to come...after hitting the button they said waiting on administration instead of letting us in. After lady got there Theres no office so we sat at table while waiting for our room to be checked. Room was perfect for what we needed though. Everything was clean ac didnt work very well..but all in all our stay worked out well. The place looked cute and good value."

"Great location just a 5 minute walk to town. The room we had was quite large with lots of room in front of the bed to move around. Having the pool was a big bonus and the 4 outdoor kitchens (plus the two indoor) gave everyone room to spread out. Bianca at check-in did a great job showing us around the property and giving us a quick tour of the town on a huge map just outside the lobby office, nice touch! "
