The Blue Door Bungalow is a comfy private Palm Springs oasis. This home can sleep up to six guests, but more suitable for four guests among the two well-appointed bedrooms and extra bonus room.

Each bedroom includes comfortable furnishings, ceiling fans, and plenty of closet space. The primary bedroom features a king size bed, smart television, and an en-suite bathroom. Your guest bedroom showcases a queen size bed and has access to the hallway bathroom that's been nicely remodeled. Inside the bonus room is a yoga/exercise/office area there's a bonus sleeping area - a built in double size Murphy bed that can sleep an additional guest, or the perfect spot for the little ones to snuggle on.

You’ll find that this vacation rental is light and bright with splashes of color highlighted by vibrant artwork that’s reminiscent of sunny Palm Springs.

Highlights include a spool, that's a pool and spa in one. It's perfect for those just looking to lounge and relax compared to swimming around. This body of water is great as is, or fire it up, and turn it into a large spa as the jets relax your muscles after a long day of play. This backyard oasis is surrounded by tall hedges making it completely private. It'll be your own private mini resort that you'll have all to yourselves. This backyard retreat also includes a patio cover, a propane BBQ grill, lounge chairs, a comfortable seating arrangement, and a propane fire pit that's great on those chilly desert nights.

The living room offers a large couch that allows for total comfort while watching a little Netflix or Amazon Prime. For any additional streaming/app use you'll need to provide your own account information. There's also an Amazon Alexa in the living room for your convenience, board games, and poker chips inside the wooden console behind the dining table that's sure to bring hours of entertainment for you and your guests.

In the kitchen, you’ll discover that it’s fully equipped and stocked with large and small cookware, dishes, and glasses to easily prepare meals at home.

This vacation rental home is located close to downtown Palm Springs, a short distance to a large gym, and an activity filled park. Demuth Park features: 12 pickleball courts, trails, playgrounds, tennis courts, dog park, and baseball fields with stunning views.

The house is perfectly located to explore the area. Located 5 minutes away from Palm Springs’ main street, 5 minutes away from Cathedral City and just 40 minutes away from Joshua Tree. Trader’s Joe’s, Target, Von’s and all the main stores are all less than 10 minutes away.

Being a Good Vacation Rental Neighbor:

This vacation rental is in a peaceful and tranquil residential neighborhood perfect for your next poolside getaway. In order to keep the tranquility of the community, we ask that you be respectful and mindful of your neighbors while on vacation.

In order to maintain the highest quality of our homes and the peace and quiet of our neighborhoods, all guests must adhere to the city and house rules. The city prohibits music and loud noise. The city strictly enforces these rules and prohibits parties, events, music, street parking, and disruptive guests. No music is allowed at any time. Quiet hours are between 9:00pm and 10:00am and guests are asked to be inside and mindful of neighbors. Overnight guests shall not exceed the property’s posted occupancy.

Friendly Reminder: The spool is heated upon request with an additional service fee of $25 daily. Note this is not a pool but a lovely spool for guests to enjoy. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the spool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. (Recommended October thru May)

This vacation rental is in a serene residential area. We kindly ask guests to respect the tranquility of the community by adhering to city and house rules. The city prohibits music and loud noise, with strict enforcement of quiet hours between 9:00 pm and 10:00 am. No parties or events are allowed.

Most people choose to have a car when visiting Southern California. There are an abundant amount of unique and significant attractions within two hours of this home. If you’re an explorer, we recommend a car.

This home is in a very walkable area as well.

If you’re the type that wants to arrive and relax at the house on your vacation, Uber and Lyft are readily available as well.

Open Air Homes is setting a new standard for the short term rental industry. During your stay, we rely on a centralized texting service so that you can reach us anytime simply with a text. Our property management team cares for each home, and our goal is to have each home properly maintained before you step foot in the home. We make your check in and check out process a breeze, and simply ask you to turn off the lights/AC and lock up on departure. Our team is well versed in the local community, and we offer each guest a personalized set of recommendations before your stay, with the goal of making your stay a truly unforgettable experience.

The Open Air ecosystem also includes both Property Management and Real Estate sales. Our experienced agents in Southern California at OpenAiRE Brokerage are specifically trained at helping our clients find the ideal vacation home that can be monetized when not in use. Our local, experienced agents are readily available to take you on a tour of homes to get to know the community.

By booking with us, you agree to sign our Rental Agreement.You understand that your check-in instructions will be sent after successfully signing our Rental Agreement.

Please note that in the State of CA, guests staying over 30 nights are legally required to sign a legal CAR form with the DRE. Our Broker of Record will send you this CAR form for signature once payment is made. Your reservation will be considered ready to go once the form is signed!

There is a 10-day grace period to return any items taken from the home at check-out (keys, garage remotes, etc). Replacement costs will be charged to guests if items are not received within 10 days of check-out.

All 30+ day stays require mid stay cleaning by our professional housekeeping team. This is a full clean of the house and change of linens. We pay our cleaners a fair, livable wage and we always strive to hire the best, most reliable and honest cleaners in the business. This team is the backbone of our company, and they work tirelessly to ensure every stay is a clean one!

PET FEES: For stays under 30 days, there is a non-refundable fee of $150 per pet. For month+ stays, there is a non-refundable fee of $300 per pet. Pets and animals are not permitted at the property at any time whatsoever unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to booking. Failure to comply with this will result in additional charge up to $1000 and/or eviction without limiting any other legal or equitable remedies available to Owner and/or Company.

It was a great spot to spend a few days with family. The unit is in a really nice location, was equipped with everything we needed, and the property mangers were great!. Would stay again.

This property is exactly as described. It is in a very nice quiet neighborhood. Once in the property you are in your own private Palm Springs Vacation Home. It was lovely my dog and my son and friend also enjoyed the Stay.
