There was nothing special here- and while we paid for a 'deluxe' king room there was nothing deluxe about it- very basic and a bit rough around the edges. There were a bunch of kids playing in the pool so we passed on that amenity, though it was nice that there was a bar/restaurant with a covered patio area adjacent to have some drinks and snacks poolside.

The vibe was nice and chill - no one being loud by the pool, which could really be tough since there's not much soundproofing. The location is good, too - close to downtown, but the area is quiet. Our room was good. Definitely lived in - some of the lamps were a little fussy, but nothing huge. For us, the main issue was the pillows were too big and hard - felt like my neck was at an angle. But to be fair, I like my pillows small. The pool and the hot tub were the highlights for sure - not crowded, and the pool is big enough to do a decent lap. The hot tub has carve-outs for each sitting spot, which makes it less awkward to be in there with other people I think.
