Great time with one hiccup.

Overall, we enjoyed the location and the cleanliness of the property. I have two complaints. One, was the check-in process was a nightmare as the reservation was booked under multiple names including mine (Great), and the host or hosts which made everything super confusing for Marriot's staff. I was told at check-in that they had my reservation, but it was multiple, and I'd have to check out and check in multiple times throughout my stay. While I thought this was fixed at check in, I got a call from the host and Marriott that I was supposed to check out and then drop what I was doing to get new keys, etc. Since the Host booked it under her name, I didn't get my Marriott points, but they did. After multiple hours on the phone with Bonvoy, I had to give up because they had other names on the reservation than my own. Even though, I paid in full prior to my stay. Second Complaint, which was on Marriott, was where the villa was located, We needed the shuttle to go to the JW or other pools and the shuttle communication was very slow and inconsistent.

I booked this months in advance and traveled from the east coast for a special event. On the day of check in, the host canceled the reservation leaving us stranded with nowhere to stay.
