Palm Cottage is a modern detached bungalow finished to a very high standard. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with off road parking at the front of the property. Another holiday property is in close proximity and so it lends itself to being suitable when several friends and families would like to holiday together.

Palm Cottage has an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen with a 3 seater and 2 seater sofa, flat screen TV with built in DVD player and dining table with seating for 4. The kitchen has been finished to a high standard with black slate work tops and white cupboards, electric hob and oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer.

The main bedroom has a double bed with storage underneath suitable for suitcases, hanging space for clothes, bedside cabinets with lights, a flat screen TV, a door leading directly into the spacious shower room in addition to the one leading from the lounge. Patio doors leading out to the enclosed decking area.

The second bedroom has twin beds, a large fitted wardrobe, cabinet and also has patio doors leading out to the decking area.

The spacious shower room is finished in charcoal grey and white with a walk-in shower, vanity unit, cabinet and WC.

The decked patio has a covered area and BBQ also table and chairs and a clothes drying area.

All floors are solid wood with under floor heating except shower room which is tiled.

Access is possible for a small wheelchair i.e. not motorised.

An ideal holiday home for 2 couples or the smaller family.

Overall good.
Property overall a lovely place and great location to access places in the area. Pub/ restaurant on site and local shop. It states that there is a hot tub, This shouldnt be advertised as there is a hot tub because there isint. This didnt effect us and our stay but some people may look for this as a option and with it stating there is a hot tub, Unfortunately its false advertisement. Overall a good stay and wouldnt put us of staying again but the discrption needs to be changed.

Perfect stay!
The property location was ideally situated to travel around. Palm cottage was a delight to stay in, well equipped and everything we required there. Even down to the delicious chocolate cake on arrival,a kind welcoming gesture. Thank you Marion and Ray for a comfortable stay. We would highly recommended staying at Palm cottage

A comfortable and functional holiday home, with a lovely surprise of a chocolate cake on our arrival, milk in the fridge and tea, coffee and sugar sachets...a definite god send after a long drive! Cottage is situated in a good location for Padstow and beaches such a Trevone and Halryn. Great that we could take our dog, and a secure decking area for him to run around. Two gated entrances down the side of the cottage, where we were able to store our kayaks when not in use. Decking area accessed by both bedrooms, with seating and a BBQ, also with a washing line with was great to hand and dry off our wetsuits. Kitchen is lovely, good range of crockery etc, washing machine and dishwasher. Decent size fridge and a microwave. Lounge is comfortable and spacious with a TV. Bathroom is great with a shower and two entrance doors. Bedrooms are a good size. WISH LIST - A couple of fans, especially as no windows in the the bedrooms, you have to open the patio doors for some air when warm, which is okay as area is safe do be able to do this, but fans as a option would be great. We will definitely consider Palm Cottage as our go to holiday home for our next visit to Cornwall.

Palm Cottage
No hot water had to keep boiling the kettle for washing up and bathroom Bathroom shower unit needs a good clean very black around door slides fittings and soap dish. Plug hole needs a degunk to enable washer to drain. Under floor heating came on every day glad the weather wasn’t any warmer ! Had to open all windows and doors on returning to the property. Very long dark hairs on double bedroom floor. We made the most of our stay and visited some beautiful places in the area.

Great Property, Great Location
You couldn’t ask for more, the cottage is spotlessly clean well furnished & has everything you need for a great stay. The rear courtyard is secure for pets & fully equipped to sit outside & relax including BBQ. Location wise everywhere in north Cornwall is easily reached & some of the beaches close by are stunning. Would we stay again definitely . Many Thanks to Marion & Ray our hosts
