Just a half-mile stroll from a glorious, golden beach, this spacious contemporary property offers a superb base for families or a group of friends who want to explore the beautiful North Cornish coast. Set in the delightful village of Trevone, the stylishly furnished holiday home sleeps six guests, with a welcome for one canine visitor. The sheltered main beach is a perennial favourite for days of surf and sand, with wonderfully scenic cliff-top walks in both directions. Picturesque Padstow and its many attractions are within 2 miles.
Coastal light floods the airy, open-plan living space, with a luxurious interior in shades of grey and touches of blue. Light the wood burner and plan tomorrow’s adventures from the comfort of elegant sofas, or around the dining table. The fine contemporary kitchen has a breakfast bar, with more seating in an impressive conservatory opening onto the garden. Upstairs are a spacious family bathroom and three charming bedrooms: a super-king-size with a shower room, a king-size, and a twin which can be made into a super-king-size. Outside, relax on the decked patio, with outdoor furniture and a lawn, plus a handy outdoor shower.
Thriving Trevone houses a pub, a village shop and a tearoom, along with an art gallery. There’s also a beach shop, a cafe and a surf store. Adjoining Rocky Beach is perfect for rock-pooling and crabbing, with a natural swimming pool at low tide. Explore Padstow’s narrow streets leading to the busy working harbour with its colourful fishing boats. You can snap up the catch of the day for supper or dine out at one of the town’s renowned seafood restaurants. Take a boat trip along the coast aboard the veteran Jubilee Queen, and walk, or hire a bike, for an amble through lovely scenery along the Camel Trail.
