"That was the worst experience in my life expedia should do it better photos and descriptions are off the reality. No soap in bathroom. There aren't any toiletries or anything like tvs or nothing "

"this is for the adventerous, dont get scare on the way there the roads are a little rough due to the hotel still being developed. Chef Marcelo is a plus for this hotel and Sol as well. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful."

"This lodge is located off the beaten track. It takes about 20 min to get here from Mindo on a narrow dirt road. The accommodation is basic but nice. Staff is small but very attentive. My cabin was spacious with one queen sized bed and three single beds (two of them in a loft). Nature around the lodge is beautiful."

"Loved the cabins in nature that forced you to leave “hustle and bustle” of daily life behind. Scenic mountain and nature views breathtaking. Bird watchers paradise. On site restaurant had delicious meals. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay in Mindo"

"I’ve traveled all over the world and stayed in some incredible 5-star hotels, but nothing truly compares to this experience. From the moment you arrive, the staff makes you feel completely at home. I even ended up rearranging my trip just so I could stay here longer. The property is charming and beautifully maintained, with service that is second to none. The team goes above and beyond—whether it’s helping with activities in the area, arranging transportation, offering local specialties, or even having simple food options available for pickier eaters. The spa, located at the top of the grounds, is fantastic. I had a coffee scrub and massage that completely rejuvenated me after coming from the high altitude in Quito. When my friend wasn’t feeling well, they even prepared her a special tea—and she felt better the very next day. Meals on the balcony were unforgettable, surrounded by birds, butterflies, and the soothing sound of rainfall. The gentle, sweet property dog quickly became a highlight of our stay—we looked forward to seeing her every day. This place is a true gem. It’s close to town yet feels like a peaceful retreat. Stay as long as you can—you won’t want to leave! GREAT VALUE for the very reasonable price. "

"This is a unique hotel. Think more like a rental cabin in a usa national park. This is not a cookie cutter us holiday inn room. These are little home built cabins in a gorgeous tropical orchid garden. The beds are clean and comfortable, the shower water is hot and the electric outlets work fine to charge your devices. Wireless is great. Tatiana greeted us warmly and gave us our choice of 3 rooms since it was important to us to have a private bathroom and privacy. We woke to the sounds of birds outside our house. The breakfast is made to order. The hotel is easy walking to the center of Mindo and all its shops and restaurants. This hotel is not handicap accessible as there are stone paths to walk. We loved staying here and would stay here again. Mindo has tried to make itself extremely safe and friendly for tourists. It does help to be able to speak some Spanish."

"Me encantó este hotel. La atención es excelente y el jardín es precioso. Pasé bastante tiempo cada día paseando por sus instalaciones, observando las aves y las plantas. Reservé dos noches inicialmente, pero decidí extender mi estancia una noche más porque me gustó mucho. El hotel está a solo 5-10 minutos caminando del centro, rodeado de naturaleza, lo que hace que la distancia valga totalmente la pena. El desayuno incluido es delicioso y variado. Si volvemos, sin duda nos alojaremos aquí nuevamente. El último día nos fuimos muy temprano, y la dueña tuvo el detalle de prepararnos un desayuno caliente para llevar. ¡Fue un gesto muy bonito que hizo nuestra experiencia aún más especial!""
