Gorgeous room and view. Friendly, efficient staff and an excellent breakfast. Wonderful hotel. The valet parking is expensive so Ubers might be a good idea.

Fantastic stay. The hotel has been beautifully renovated and is super glam - don’t skip Starlite Bar on the top floor! Our room was one of the standard ones so a little cozy, especially the bathroom, and a few things felt a little tired (chipped paint, pedestal sink was a tad loose, toilet paper holder was broken) but it was quiet and clean, and the bed very comfy. Staff was also very friendly and welcoming. We’d absolutely stay here again.

Loved the drive up of the hotel and the glass firepits along the drive for outside seating. Our experience with the front desk check-in necessitated the help of a manager on duty. Parking at the hotel was at a premium yet could not accommodate SUVs taller than six feet so beware. We received mixed responses regarding restaurants/food within the hotel making it more difficult to determine our dining plans. Our final decision - this hotel needs to be more transparent and forthcoming regarding amenities, rules. cost deposits, etc.

Nice staff,, convenient location, comfortable bed. Shower pressure was mediocre. Room had numerous power outlets - so helpful when we had cellphones, EarPods, battery packs and laptops to charge. Room also had desk chair, club chair and an ottoman - so that more than 1 person can sit. Powell St station is just a 5 min walk away; catch the BART or Caltrain. Many great food options nearby - including GF options which is what we needed. Note - hotel’s location, though convenient, is in a sketchy part of SF, known as “the tenderloin”. Our Uber driver cautioned us not to walk around in certain streets.
