Experience the vintage charm of Pacific Grove in this two-bedroom/two bath seaside cottage. It's close to Jewell Park, a short stroll from Lover’s Point Beach—and just a few blocks from the shops and restaurants lining Lighthouse Avenue.  You’ll feel warm and welcome with a gas fireplace, a cheerful, country-style kitchen, and a small patio with a barbeque. Period touches abound, from the brass Queen bed downstairs to the white clawfoot tub on the upper level. There is a full bath with a tub/shower on the ground floor, and a second full bath upstairs along with two twin beds and an office nook. Street parking only. Pacific Grove Transient Use License #410.

Delightful Pacific Grove getaway

Perfectly situated and comfortable cottage. Loved the walkability to everything - Lovers Point, downtown PG, even the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Really enjoyed our stay.

Unbelievable location! A block from the water. We could hear the seals barking in the evening from the upstairs bathroom. Very responsive staff.

Historic Property in quiet seaside neighborhood

This small historic home is darling. Very short walk to Lover’s Point. Rent bikes there and explore the paved ocean side walkway/bikeway that goes to Aquarium and Cannery Row. Enjoy coffee on the front porch and eat dinner off the grill on tucked away table for 4. Michelle, property manager, was very responsive. We had a great time.

Quaint and Clean, amazing location!

Sweet pea is located just blocks from the ocean and great places to eat in Pacific Grove. We really enjoyed walking along the nearby pathway that follows the coastline. It was so beautiful and my son loved riding his scooter there. The house is an adorable historic Victorian, very clean and quaint. It is nicely furnished and comfortable for a small family. The towels are soft and beds are comfortable for a good night's sleep. The fireplace in the living room puts off a lot of heat and wall heater takes care of the bedrooms. Each bathroom has it's own heater too. The neighborhood is very quiet. Michelle was easy to reach for any questions ahead of time and during our stay.

Cute house by the sea

Really cute little house and great location! Really friendly neighbors especially Rory! We loved playing fetch with Rory! The parking was difficult but we worked it out. The place was not cleaned well which did not make us comfortable . The blankets smelled musty and were likely not washed. In a pandemic, this is not a good thing. Water pressure was an issue in the shower.

Perfect accommodation

Sweet Pea was perfect for our needs. We could walk to the bay and to town. Our son was golfing at Pebble Beach, which was just a short drive away. The beds were comfortable. The house was clean and we lived sitting in the sun on the porch in the late afternoon. It was a great stay.

Great location, cute small place. Needs new mattress in the primary bedroom. Floors are uneven, not a tripping hazard but if you have balance issues this might not be the one for you.

Weekend Getaway

This was the perfect location. Just walking distance to the beach and wonderful restaurants. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet.Would definitely stay again. Fireplace was bonus. Parking was a bit of a bother at times.

Location was fantastic with view of ocean. Excellent walking trails all over and proximity to the Wharf area was convenient. Pacific Grove area had many walkable restaurants and shops. Parking was a challenge on one way street but we managed. Neighbors were very friendly and chatty .

Cozy Stay with Sisters

This was a second time staying at Sweet Pea Cottage and we loved it! The cottage is so cute and in the perfect location. We walked to the coast and to the shops and restaurants. We are 3 sisters and were visiting relatives in the area. There was plenty of space for us, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen met our needs. We loved sitting by the fireplace in the morning and at night, catching up with each other. We are looking forward to our stay next year.

Great location, clean, but needs tlc

Sweet Pea is a perfect little house for 2+ . We truly enjoyed our stay, especially the close proximity to the beach. Bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms are clean. The window sills could use some cleaning and the kitchen table is beyond sticky, it could probably use a new coat of sealant. The back garden area doesn’t reflect the pictures and the fireplace doesn’t work. For the price we paid, we expected a bit more.

This is very cute little house in a great location! It is very clean. The neighbors are very friendly and helpful. The management is responsive. Walk the neighborhood and find history around every corner!

Perfect family stay

We are a family of four, with a 6yo and an infant. This house was perfect for our needs. It was really cozy and peaceful. We appreciated having a full bathroom on each floor. The location was perfect, and we didn’t drive all weekend except the 5 minutes to get to the aquarium. The beach, cafes, restaurants, and a great market are all 2-4 blocks away. The house is outdated, which I was worried about from the listing, but it wasn’t really an issue because the house was so clean and well maintained.

Summer Fun in Cool Monterey

I took 2 of my granddaughters to visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium. This cute little house has lots of personality and quirks and we loved it. So much better than a hotel room. My younger grand fell in love with her "fluffy soft" bed and they enjoyed having the privacy of the entire 2nd floor. So did I. I had to remember how to parallel park. I think it's been 30 years since I had to do that. Staff very helpful too.

Adorable Victorian Excellent Location

The house is an adorable tiny Victorian. The location is amazing. You can walk everywhere. The only thing I would recommend is more blankets. A throw on the sofa would be nice. However, we were fine without them or we would have asked for them.

Loved Sweet Pea!

Such a lovely charming place! Loved the lavender in the front garden. Full washer and dryer at back of house was very convenient. Made use of well equipped kitchen. Location is great making for easy walking to restaurants, Lover's Point and the Monterey walkway. Highly recommend.
