Watch the scuba divers diving just a stone's throw from the shoreline. Two-blocks to famous centrally located Lover's Point Park. Take a walk along the beach on the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail; past Asilomar Beach, onward to Pebble Beach and the famous 17-Mile Drive. Or towards Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf by the historic downtown Monterey with its shops & restaurants.

    Stroll down Ocean View Boulevard to Lover's Point Park and rent a bike or surrey (4-person bike), travel along the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail to the Aquarium, Cannery Row and Old Fisherman's Wharf and beyond! Save the parking fees because of the convenience of never needing to take your car. Bike rental is available at the Lover's Point Park (next to the snack bar) and at Cannery row as well. Beautiful location and super convenient for exploring Carmel and Monterey. Tons of sea otter spottings! House was very clean and had everything we needed, but the furnishings are very simple/a bit outdated - office chairs in the living room area, super creaky bed with old mattresses, one of the showers is very small (perfect for me since I'm short, but was a little tricky for my taller husband). Overall the view, cleanliness, proximity to other locations, and charm of the area make this a great spot.

The location & place itself was wonderful! It was right across the street from the ocean. The place was very clean, had plenty of towels & blankets. We walked a lot to restaurants & short drives to the aquarium & other places. The communal pool wasn’t as close as we expected. The only thing I wished we had was an assigned parking space. We came home late one evening & the spot in front of the house was taken so we had to park across the street.

Great Time in Pacific Grove

Enjoyed our stay at this rental. Great location. Views of the ocean, seals, otters & birds were astounding. We walked to restaurants and we cooked in and hung out on the patio & balcony and enjoyed the view. We would stay here again.

Fabulous location

Our family of six including two young grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and had what we needed. The view was fantastic! We could see otters floating in the kelp. The location was perfect- across from the ocean and coastal trail. We hope to come back.

It was awesome to have coffee and watch the seals from the front porch, have trails right out your front door, and close to all the attractions. It’s a very nice little house, well appointed, and Grace was quick to respond to all our questions.

Ocean Vacation Bliss!

Our stay here was amazing! The house is in the best location for nature watching and taking a nice run or walk or bike ride up the coast in either direction. We watched sea otters for hours from the deck upstairs and the upstairs bedroom. We saw dolphins and seals from the house too! From the house we could walk to restaurants, shops, and coffee spots. The house had everything we needed and the beds were comfy! We felt very safe there even though the house is on a main road. Pacific Grove is a perfect spot and not crowded at all. We will definitely come back, but for longer next time!

Beautiful

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property included all necessary amenities and several small touches that made our stay with smaller children easier. We loved taking walks along the ocean trail and watching the wildlife from the windows. On a particularly warm evening, the sound of the ocean waves lulled us to sleep with the windows open. I was a bit worried about close from the road, but it was minimal and not disruptive at all.

Great little house on the ocean

We had a great stay. The house is very cute and comfortable. It was absolutely spotless, and I have to give an extra shout out for the comfortable beds - you don’t often find those in a VRBO - and 2 kings in PG is hard to find as well. We arrived on the weekend so the traffic from Lovers Point made it seem a little busy, but it was perfect during the week. We loved being right across the street from the beach path where we could hope over and take a walk or sit on a bench by the ocean any time we wanted. We had a great stay, the house worked really well for us!

Sister get away

Had my sisters in for a short stay. This property was perfect for the three of us. Plenty of room, very clean, all the supplies that you would want, view of ocean is fantastic, location to both Monterey and Carmel was an easy commute. Love the walking path just across the street. Grace was always hospitable & timely on communication. Highly recommend this home!

Wonderful stay in Pacific Grove

We truly enjoyed our stay in Pacific Grove. It was very easy to communicate with Grace, she was very quick at answering any questions that we had. The house is very clean and very well equipped with everything that you need. The beds were very comfortable. The view is magnificent, nature right outside your door. The walkway in front of the house was great. It is a 5 Min walk to lovers point (restaurants, place to rent kayak and paddle boards) and about 20 mins walk to Cannery row. We were close to everything we wanted to do. Loved the area and would go back.

Definitely want to stay again!

The house was simple and exactly what we needed for our stay. The only con was parking across the street away from the house. Neighbors took up all the parking in front of and on the side street. But the location is amazing! I got to say hello to my seal, sea lion, and sea otter friends every morning. We even saw whales one morning from the living room when there was no fog! If you’re looking for a great priced place to stay that’s private and simple, this is it. I’m already planning our next trip there and we just got back home today.

The view takes the cake!

The view exceeded expectations. Each day sunrise and sunsets were gorgeous and the animals came out to play (sea lions and otters). Location was so convenient with both walkable restaurants/stores as well as things that were just a quick drive (ex. aquarium). My only recommendation is a more thorough job in cleaning the place as there was dried spilled coffee down the cabinet (below the coffee machine). The downstairs room with the futon could be dressed up a bit to feel less like you’re sleeping in a closet (first step would be to sweep the cobwebs). Despite the small things mentioned, it was a lovely location. Our family had a great time.

Fabulous!

What a fabulous location and a perfectly equipped home (games, books and the VIEW). We had everything we needed and more! We had a senior, young family with baby and a couple and the house could not have been more perfect. We had the family of three upstairs in a room with a porta-crib and we could play games, visit, laugh (oh yes, a glass of wine or two) and the baby couldn't hear us and we couldn't hear her in the night when she woke up . . . perfect! We never ended up on the upstairs deck, but the front desk was PERFECT! Grace was more than accommodating - after a morning at the Monterey Bay Aquarium (great 1.4 mile walk), we were locked out - being extra careful, I guess - after a quick message to Grace, we were back into the house and the baby was asleep in 5! I would highly recommend this home and look forward to returning next year! Thank you, Grace, for everything!!

Great stay in Pacific Grove

We had a great stay at the property. The location worked out great for the area. You are right down from Lover's Point and close to the heart of Pacific Grove, the Aquarium and a short drive to everything we wanted to do. The property was well stocked and clean. The washer/dryer works especially well for a rental. The parking behind the house worked well for smaller SUV (larger would be tight) but there was a lot of street parking as well. Two things to note with the bathrooms. The one shower/bathroom is downstairs while the bedrooms are upstairs - not a complaint just a note. Also, the upstairs shower is very short and a little tight for space. It worked fine but just a tight fit if you are close to 6ft. The other thing to note is the house has 5 doors from the outside. The neighborhood feels very safe but the number of doors was just unique for us given the size of the place.

Stairway not to Heaven

The steep stairway without adequate hand railing was the biggest disappointment. Very dangerous. One bedroom had no closet, just metal shelves in the corner of the room. The shower was small and although the listing states there is a tub, there is not. The bedding for the futon did not include sheets. The "bench on the beach across the street" is actually not directly across the street. There is no AC which is probably not needed often but it was pretty warm while we were there. And, for the amount of money, Folgers coffee really? Pretty bare bones. That said, it is a cozy little place and it is conveniently located near many nearby attractions. I would look around and probably stay there again if I couldn't find anything similar but safer. The stairs were a huge problem for an 80, 70 and 65 yr. old. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Pacific Grove, Monterey and Carmel.

House is very clean, amazing views. The home is older plumbing and electricity is limited. (Very few outlets, showers are very small, tight and short!)Otherwise great stay!!
