"Great location between the Gothic Quarter and the beach, and as two female travellers we felt very safe throughout our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the city. The room was smaller and basic but suitable for a short stay. Housekeeping was done daily and kept everything clean and tidy. Unfortunately, we had an issue on arrival with the shower not working. We reported it at check-in and were told someone would look at it, but after waiting around an hour with no one arriving, we followed up at reception. The issue was not resolved that evening, leaving us without a shower for the first afternoon and evening. The shower was fixed the following day. I asked if breakfast could be compensated due to the inconvenience and lack of an alternative room. Reception informed me the manager had denied the request, which surprised me as I felt it was reasonable. The manager later called our room, but I felt the conversation was argumentative, so I ended the call. The majority of staff were friendly and helpful, especially the pool team. The food was good and the pool area was enjoyable. Expedia were also very helpful in supporting me while resolving the situation. Overall, the hotel has an excellent location, felt safe, and had many positives. Better communication and understanding when handling concerns would have improved the experience."

"My sister and I stayed here two weeks ago. When we arrived, the hotel was experiencing issues with the air conditioning. To make up for the inconvenience, our breakfast was complimentary for the first two days. Because there was no clear timeline for when the AC would be repaired, the staff arranged for us to be transferred to another hotel for the remainder of our stay. Throughout the situation, the staff was kind, professional, and very helpful. They communicated with us regularly and worked hard to make the transition as smooth as possible. The hotel is in a great location, with convenient access to the metro and many nearby attractions. While the AC issue was unfortunate, we appreciated the excellent customer service and the efforts made to ensure we were taken care of."
