Had a great time in the perfect location spending day trips visiting all the great places in the area; Whitefish Point, Taquamenon Falls, Crisp point, the Two Hearted, Lakeshore Drive, and the Soo."

"On balance this was a nice stay. It is a very isolated campsite, apart from the other cabins of course. Good for unplugging. The cabin was cute and tidy. The breeze coming in through the windows was nice. The toilet and shower were adequate. Only negative was bugs on the kitchen table and it's not well suited for lake/beach access; there are better options in this area if you're about the beach and water."

"The whole house was completely stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We stayed Monday through Saturday and couldn’t believe how welcoming and safe it felt. My best friend and I had a girls trip and it was our first time in the UP and my first experience with a bnb so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was a perfect base for all of our adventures and we crammed a lot of them in our time there. Very quiet neighborhood. Pet friendly/safe. You will see deer in the yard "

"Charming! I chose it for an overnight to break up our drive to the Porcupine Mountains. After we arrived, I realized that Birch Lodge IS the destination! Our downstairs bedroom, parlor and bathroom were very spacious. The porch reminded me of the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island! Bring food as the eateries in the village are lame. I was hoping for whitefish at McGowan's but it was closed and looks like its for sale."
