Great location, near the train station, the main bus station, and the historic central city. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The setting is conducive to meeting new friends from around the world. I started my trip there and returned there at the end of my travels.

Oxford budget accommodation

Clean and well maintained property. Heavy noise coming in from the street during the weekend due to the need of keeping the window slightly open to refresh the dormitory. Earplugs kindly made available by the management.

Highly recommended

Lovely stay. Friendly and helpful staff, cleans the shower every time someone uses it. Comfy & clean beds, have these boards around you so you don’t have to look at someone when you’re lying down. Very clean, tidy, and cozy kitchen & common area. Also, they don’t charge for luggage storage after checkout which is a huge plus (every other hostel I stayed in would charge post-checkout luggage storage fee, which I understand) It could get pretty loud on Saturday night but they offer free earplugs. Great stay overall, highly recommended!

I would stay there again

I really liked the hostel. Loads of areas to hangout and relax. The location is also very good, in between the station and the city centre. They let me leave my bag before checking in and after the check out. The hostel is above a couple of night clubs so make sure you bring some earplugs or you could use the ones the hostel gives out for free.

Horrible Location - this Hostel should disclose that their rooms are located directly above three dance clubs. VERY VERY VERY VERY NOISY. I got maybe 2 hours of quiet.

Visited Oxford to study in Bodleian. This place provided a good basic base to sleep. Kept very clean, though could be touch noisy- earplugs provide, very helpful! Get what you are paying for- though the free tea and coffee in kitchen was nice

Excellent service from the reception staff. Shame the weather was so hot, almost boiling and the AC in my room was almost non-existent. Even with an open window, it was simply too hot to spend even an hour in. Checked out straightaway.

Clean, bright and cheerful

I fancied a cheap couple of days away from home and work to explore Oxford as I'd always wanted to visit and what could be cheaper than a Backpacker hotel with shared sleeping arrangements! I highly recommend this accommodation. Very clean, and bright with excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities and helpful staff. It was also fun sleeping on a top bunk for the first time in decades!
