"Recently renovated and very clean. Comfy and quiet. However, the renovations are a lil bit slapdash. The towel bar in my room was broken and held in place by some gel like glue, for ex. The bed was firm and the sheets and towels crisp. I enjoy a rough towel. Not even kidding. The body wash may or may not resemble dish soap. Sensitive skin folks you already know to bring your own. I’d stay here again."

"This place was immaculate. I really appreciated that. It's a little small for more than a couple of people, but since there's so much to do out-and-about, that probably isn't a problem. It was great for my sister and myself. The kitchen is very well equipped, with modern and well-running appliances, including an excellent washer and drier. Everything works great and is in great condition.The turn out of Brackney onto Highway 9 is a bit tight, so we just went north for a quarter mile and U turned to head south when going down toward Felton and Santa Cruz. The property location is great, right on the San Lorenzo. Only that turn on Highway 9 was a location problem, and that's surmountable (thus the 4 stars on 'location')."

"Fern River Resort was such a special getaway. We were surrounded by breathtaking redwood trees, a very clean river on the property and wonderful staff. Check in was a breeze and instructions were super clear on how to get to our cabin. Our cabin #2 was extremely clean and very cozy, the bedding was plush and pink! I loved that we had the option to cook there. At the property, Lisa was able to also accommodate an extension on our last day there thankfully because we weren't ready to leave yet, she was profesional and very kind. We will definitely be coming back and will be recommending this special place in the woods to friends and family."

"This property was perfect for our family of 4 for our stay in Felton for a family reunion. It is centrally located and within walking distance to downtown Felton. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was also clean and well maintained and an added, relaxing bonus to our trip after event-packed days. It is also not a far drive to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. We enjoyed our trip and this rental."

"Beautiful property with excellent amenities (new appliances and bathrooms). Deck chairs were a bit old but everything else was perfect. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking for a family. Home is steps off hwy 9 but it was still amazing and a great location to get to lots of beautiful redwood park’s and Santa Cruz boardwalk and wharf."
