"What a cute little place! I appreciate how well it was decorated. It fit very well in the neighborhood. The room was incredibly clean and I was pleasantly surprised by the efficient small room features like the fridge drawer, garment and hanger cabinet and gorgeous little patio. The hair dryer was the best hair dryer I've used in a hotel in my entire adult life. That alone gets you five stars. The shower and bath were magnificent and definitely something I'll remember when I remodel my bathroom. The lighting, showerhead, towels, all amazing! It's also perfectly situated in the neighborhood for a show at the theater. I highly recommend stopping by the historic Twin Peaks gay bar down the street. It's a neighborhood bar, cash only, but the bartenders and customers are the sweetest people on earth."

"Large, clean room. Excellent parking available and friendly staff. Great location next to Golden Gate Park and the ocean The only amenity in the room were 2 small soaps. Nothing else. No ice machine during the 3 nights we stayed .machine was broken Some minor issues that needed repair. Overhead bulb needed replacement and toilet handle needed repair. If you choose a downstairs room, it may be noisy since you can hear upstairs tenants."

"Was hesitant to stay with the shared bathroom but honestly was never a problem during my 3 night stay, there are two bathrooms/showers in each hall from what I saw, and the sink in the room is nice to get ready in your room. The bed in the room was comfortable too. Other reviews mention the noise/thin walls. Maybe it was a slow week and my room was towards the middle of the building but it never was especially loud, even during the night. The location in the Castro is great, close to Safeway/cafes/restaurants/public transit. I would see the cleaning ladies in the morning and say hi and they seemed nice, the whole place was always clean, the only negative would be the soaps in the bathroom and hand sanitizer in the bathrooms were completely empty, I suspect they don't refill them."
