"Everything went perfect for our stay, from checking in to out. Room was nice and spacious, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with so many options to choose from. All staff were so helpful and courteous. Would definitely stay here again if returning to Singapore."

"The food I had from the Waterfall Cafe was poor - cold the first time, then dry and tasteless. The food was the worst part of the stay - the sandwiches from 7-eleven were better quality."

The restaurant buffet is especially great for stopover travellers who just want to rest and stay close to the hotel - great options available for a really reasonable price. We also loved the pool. It is also close to a stop for the hop on and hop off Big Bus route which is recommended too."

"A great location with a MRT station only 5 minutes walk away. Chinatown is about a 10 to 15 minute walk while there are countless places to dine within a few minutes. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and breakfast was excellent. I'll certainly stay at the Carlton City Hotel when I next visit Singapore."

"Excellent hotel, spacious rooms and bathroom, very clean and beds very comfortable. Helpful staff. Shame about the queue for a table for the buffet breakfast after about 8am, but once in, the breakfast is very good with many chefs and lots of Asian options. Great location right next to 3 malls and Promenade MRT."

"Not an exaggeration to say this is our favorite hotel in the whole world. That sounds like hyperbole but it really isn’t. The hotel itself is stunning (get a garden view if you can), staff are professional and friendly, pool is nice, breakfast is tasty, and the neighborhood is a great base to explore Singapore. A bit away from Marina Bay, but to us that’s a blessing. Better food around."

"Had a fantastic stay with Paradox Singapore Merchant Clarke Quay. Great location, with easy access to restaurants, bars, shopping & the trains. Staff & service were excellent, and the little touches of fruit infused iced water in the lobby after a long day in the heat, made it even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!"
