The location is very convenient, especially for reaching Kyoto or Kobe via rail. Some areas of the room, such as the metal in the restroom, show their age a bit, but this does not affect functionality. The staff was very helpful during both check-in and check-out, and guided me through any paperwork I needed to do.

The hotel is super clean and situated in a quiet neighborhood that is just a few steps away from a train station. Staff is very accommodating and kind. The room is compact but still have enough space to move around. Breakfast buffet offers delicious Japanese food. Will use it again.

Great place to stay as its close to the shinkansen station shin Osaka. It is also conveniently close to restaurants, convenience stores and even supermarkets for amenities. The hotel itself has vending machines, laundry and dryer facilities and the breakfast buffet is available daily if you so choose.

I really liked this hotel. The staff was very respectful and friendly. There were so many amenities provided. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair combs, pyjamas. The room was spacious and comfortable for Japan. Everything was provided in the room. The hotel was just a small walk from Shin Osaka train station where we had taken the Shinkansen to arrive. Nearby there was Lawson and 7/11 convenience stores. And McDonald’s. I had chosen the hotel for the great location and the price was right. we only got to stay there for 3 days because we went to Tokyo after that but this hotel was nicer than the one we stayed at in Tokyo and I would have loved to stay at this one longer. Thank you Smile hotel!

I had a lovely time whilst at Smile Hotel in Osaka. All staff was humble and welcoming. Cleanliness was their top priority and everything was spotless. Size of the rooms are suitable for a couple and beds /w pillows are very comfortable. Highly recommend if and it’s an ideal place to stay if you’ve got a Shinkansen train to catch on your Jp trip.
