Heart of the Redwoods-HOPE Cottage

Welcome to our HOP(E) Redwood Cottage!
(HOP, pronounced HOPE is the Native American word for Redwoods)

This is one of three cottages availableon our property, in Orick, CA-quite literally in the middle of the Redwoods. We are 3 miles north of the town of Orick. This newly renovated cottage offers a beautiful, cozy retreat with all the amenities of home including exceptional clean standards.

WE HAVE MADE SOME UPGRADES-We now have an improved 5G WiFi network with improved connectivity for all your streaming, gaming, & video conferencing.

This 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom Cottage has a large living room, kitchen, dining room, laundry room & sleeps 6. It is furnished with a King, Queen, & 2 twin beds.

You will have access to the whole house and back yard with a BBQ, Patio Furnishings, & Fire Pit, including firewood. This Cottage sits on our 6.5 acre property, bordered by 3 creeks. You are welcome to enjoy the whole property. In the fall, feel free to pick the wild Blackberries that encircle the property.

We love the Elk visit our property regularly. We hope you are able to enjoy their majestic beauty while you are here. Please be advised they are wild animals. Keep your pets on leash while outside at all times & do not approach the Elk or feed them as they can be very unpredictable & dangerous.
We also try to stay on top of cleaning up the Elk droppings. Please be patient with us, if they have visited in-between our clean up.

We are located in the middle of the beautiful north coast Redwoods, surrounded by National & State Parks, Lagoons, Beaches, Creeks & Rivers. Adventure is literally in every direction, whether you want to stroll through the Redwoods, go to the beach, take a hike, or adventure in our many water ways.

Gateway to the Redwoods
The cabin was just adorable. Everything was clean and modern and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the dishware, utensils, pots and pans, etc. Fridge was clean. Microwave was new. Everything was spit spot! Bedrooms were very comfortable. We will come back!

The property was better than the pictures. A nice creek right behind the house with forest. Inside is new, clean, good windows, and best of all, the house is stocked better than many of the rentals we have stayed in. Finally, Prairie Creek Redwoods are so close we came back for lunch and coffee between hikes in the park. Host and other help available if needed. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank You.
