"I picked this hotel based on its Hotels.com ratings, which mentioned the amazing breakfast. The breakfast was below even the typical carbs and sugar provided in Motel 6's across the nation. I went out to eat."

"We stayed here because it was in downtown Ashland, which was convenient for our planned activities. Our room, while on the top floor and with a nice view, was not as clean as expected. There was popcorn clearly visible on the floor near the sofa from a previous guest; there were visible stains on the carpet; there were coffee(?) stains on the night stand surface; the only glass in the bathroom was smudged and obviously not washed. The coffee maker and the provided "pods" were not compatible so no coffee in the am unless we trecked down to the mezzanine level and carried it back up. Also, the only vent in the room/bathroom was over the toilet area and blew gale-force wind into the bath and shower area. Not comfortable! Won't stay ever again."

"My stay was excellent on all points, until I went to check out and found a cockroach in the bathroom. When I returned the key to the front desk I reported the cockroach finding and the clerk assured me they’d look into it. "

"We absolutely loved this carriage house! It was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. It has a convenient little kitchen, wonderful soaking tub (and shower). And having two balconies was an added bonus. The views were beautiful! The location was perfect. All theaters and restaurants downtown are within walking distance. We only used our car one time in three days to explore some hiking trails. Kathy is an excellent host, responds quickly, and is just a kind person. We felt good vibes here. We love Ashland and hope to stay here every time we visit in the future!"

"We had such an excellent stay at Oberon! It was everything advertised and more. It was beautifully decorated and so clean. The gorgeous yard and plantings we could see from every window. Antea was a perfect gracious host. In walking distance to downtown, restaurants, and the theaters. Can't wait to go back!"

"A lovely place to land. Beautiful Victorian with a garden to relax in. The room was so comfortable (even had a window seat) and the food was great. As was each member of the staff."

"We had a wonderful time. The four of us were in kindergarten together and now we’re 80 and we still get together once a year. We had a very restful visit going to brunch and then a play and then a wonderful dinner every day. We couldn’t have had a better time."
