"We had an enjoyable stay over the last eight days. The weather was colder than expected, with nighttime temperatures dropping into the 20s, and the loft area was the warmest space in the house. Because of the cold weather, we weren’t able to use the pool, but the property itself was in very good shape.I especially loved the animals on the property. There were six horses and one miniature horse, all very friendly. We were able to pet them and feed them carrots and apples, which I really enjoyed. I also enjoyed watching how the horses are harnessed for a show — it was fascinating to see.There were also two dogs, Captain and Lady, who were very friendly and even looked for me through the fence one day, which was really sweet. In addition, there was a barn cat, a rooster, a hen, and several peacocks.Overall, the stay was peaceful and relaxing. We truly enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and hospitality and would definitely return again."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Palmerto Cottage. It was a cozy little cabin. It was clean and had everything we needed. The only trouble we had was getting the Televisions to work in both bedrooms. There was a large selection of DVDs to choose from, It would also have been nice to have a throw blanket on the sofa. We would stay there again if we were to return to Micanopy."
