"This is basic. For the price we were charged $499 for a 2 bedroom apartment for 1 night and then $15 for parking I thought it would have had a bit more wow but it lacked any sort of appeal. Would not stay here again. No view except of roof tops. The stainless steel bins in the ensuite and bathroom were covered in brown spots. Beds were very hard so had very little sleep. Have stayed in much nicer places for a lot less. Definitely not value for money"

"Very nice. We were in the newer section in the back - the space worked for us. Overall the hotel is fine - we ate dinner there once. Sat on the porch which was a little cold - they have plastic curtains to close it off (to a degree) and radiant heaters. Seems like they were a bit light on staffing - saw only 2 waitstaff - so they had a hard time keeping up. We were there at the end of the season (mid April) so I need to cut them some slack. Russell is nice and peaceful, but quite small. Stayed for 3 nights which was probably one night too long."

"Was definitely in low season. Paid for breakfast, none to be found. No employees. Pool area locked up after dinner. Disappointed."

"Clean room. Staff were so kind, helpful & knowledgeable, nothing was to much trouble for them. Pool area was clean & tidy. The pool & hottub was lovely & warm. Would definitely stay again."
