"We stayed 2 nights in an executive 1 bedroom suite, this is probably the nicest, cleanest, well maintained motel we have ever stayed in. Was very quiet and well located. Our only comment would be the 2 seater couch is not very comfortable. Other than that, was perfect. We would definitely recommend to others traveling to Whangarei"

"We had a 2 bedroom / 2 ensuite apartment with 180 degree waterfront and beach views. Loved the sound of the rolling waves on the shore, but sadly a few hoons used the road in front as a drag strip. The apartment furniture was a little dated, but bathrooms and bed were top notch. It was also immaculately clean. Less than a 10 minute walk to the Russell ferry and shops. Superb friendly welcome with advice what to do in the surrounding area and was so accommodating. Quiet season (winter) but still a great experience. I would highly recommend the Edgewater Palm Apartments"

"Our stay was great! Freshly renovated & very clean rooms, comfortable bed, a short walk into the center of town, easy check in process - free washer and dryer facilities (huge bonus!) as well as plenty of parking. Even though the lodge was fully booked during our stay & located near a main road the rooms were nice and quiet. Look forward to staying again in the future."
