We drove into Tairua and into the Main Street of this lovely, neat and tidy town. There were a few cafes and shops including a Four Square supermarket and a bottle shop. Lovely property, the manager was so helpful just a note for families the beds are upstairs and only single hand rail
So it is a bit daunting if travelling with parents - also Navman does not take you directly to the route so a phone call sorts that out. Older property however well suited to us

This was our second stay. The accommodation is conveniently located just North of Thames. It is a short five minute drive into town.
The view from the room to the sea is nice. The room is spacious. The balcony/deck - which also connects to the neighbouring rooms with a table and two chairs is nice and spacious, too.
We do like the small kitchen to prepare our own breakfast and fridge to store chilled and frozen goods.
