"Check was simply and quick, we arrived at approximately 11pm. Friendly professional staff greeted us and we stayed in room 242.
We ate a hit freshly made breakfast at 6;30am with the best crispy bacon ever. There was a nice selection or items and a variety of hot and cold to pick.
Prior to check-in we requested a free late check out (if possible), to which the hotel granted until 12noon. We vacated the room at 11:30am and did not wait for front desk to check us out as they had their hands full with a rude customer. Truly, no staff should have to deal with disrespect as that front desk clerk did. We just dropped the key cards and left. I sent an email to confirm we had vacated the premises.
The staff are professional and friendly. The property maintenance team cares, the housekeeper keep the rooms spotless. Our beds were comfy. This was one of the best stats I’ve had in Windsor.
However, what really impressed me was Alyssa, she responded to my message after we had departed. She respectfully apologized because we could not che k out; which we didn’t bother us. We felt bad for the staff tolerating a disrespectful client. Further, I brought to her attention a contractor mishap; whereas they forgot to chalk by the shower of the refurbished/renovated bathroom. Not a big deal to us but an issue that if not repaired would cause damage to the hotel at a later date. Alyssa contacted maintenance immediately to have the oversight fixed., "
