"This was our favorite hotel we stayed at during our 11 day Greece trip and happened to be the most economical of the four we stayed at. Our harbor view room was huge, beautiful, polished, and clean. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. The location is perfect in the old town. The included breakfast is outstanding. We cannot wait to return to this hotel on our next Greek adventure! "

"This was one of the coolest hotels we have stayed in. It is a 500 year old castle. The rooms are huge, with very comfortable beds and the best rain shower. The staff are so friendly and accommodating to all your needs. They also give you a traditional Greek breakfast in the morning. The location was perfect with fun shops, restaurants and the beach. "A True Treasure in the Heart of Chania Staying at Palazzo di Pietro was nothing short of exceptional. Perfectly situated in the prime location of Old Town Chania, the hotel places you right in the center of the city’s vibrant history, culture, and charm. From the cobblestone streets to the nearby harbor, everything you could want to explore is just steps away. The building itself carries a rich and fascinating history, which you can feel as soon as you walk through the doors. At the same time, the property has been thoughtfully updated, blending historical elegance with modern-day comforts while beautifully preserving its character while offering every convenience you’d expect. What truly makes Palazzo di Pietro unforgettable, however, is the staff. "We had 8 days of pure relaxation on our honeymoon at the SanSal hotel. The hotel is modern. Our room was lovely and somehow always cool in high temperature. Amazing view from our balcony. The staff are super friendly. We loved spending time on the roof top pool area. Its a short walk to beaches and into the brilliant old town I would 💯 recommend this hotel if you are thinking of staying in Chania. We will come back again. "

They capture the "boutique" experience perfectly.

"This hotel was really special (the online pictures do not capture how great the property is). We had the larger room for our family of 4 and it was really great. The staff was extremely attentive and the breakfast was lovely (an excessive amount of food and lattes were offered!!). They even offer to bring the breakfast to your room if you prefer. They directed me to a free public lot for parking which was about a 7 minute walk. We would absolutely stay here again."

"Pros: the beach is across the road, small but cozy and with showers. The hotel itself is very clean, modern, even has its own small garage for seven parking spaces. But you need to book in advance. Breakfasts are generally beyond praise, freshly prepared, with hot dishes like scrambled eggs and meat snacks. Not to mention the pastries. Cons: some distance from the city center and the lack of grocery stores nearby."
