The place is very central in old town with a great view. Olga was very helpful and welcoming ❤️. Not suitable if you want to sleep early as the noise is continuous from the restaurants

Lovely Hotel in a Central location

Hotel is in a prime location, just a few minutes walk from a free public car park. Lovely hosts and comfortable room, shower room is compact but adequate. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful and is varied each day.

I loved this place! It was the best location for dining, shopping, beaches, views and the staff is incredible! I booked the Honeymoon Suite just for the view and I was so happy I did, I had the BEST view. Lots to see and do, I will definitely be back and stay at the Casa Leone Hotel. I can’t say enough good things about the place, you’ll have to visit yourself to find out.

OUTSTANDING!!! We just spent six nights at Casa Leone, and loved it. Olga and the staff were fantastic, and they took great care of us. Breakfast was outstanding, not to mention the location and view. It was extremely relaxing to sit on the balcony and watch the scene around the little bay!

Very quaint hotel, 15 century villa. Only 5 rooms in it. Clean, friendly staff. Great European breakfast with hardboiled eggs, baking, Greek yogurt with lots of toppings, fresh fruit salad, fresh squeezed orange juice and French pressed coffee. Very convenient area in the Old Town Chania area in the old Venetian port. Lots of restaurants. Most shopping was closed as not their busy time, 3rd week of March. Stayed 2 nights, very pleased with accommodation and very friendly staff/owner.

We had an lovely stay at Casa Leone. The property itself is amazing - it's almost 600 years old, and oozes history and charm, yet it is thoroughly renovated and has all the needed modern creature comforts. Its location is incredible - right on the old Venetian harbor - and great shopping and tons of eating options are just minutes away. No real parking options, so folks who are driving need to consider the difficulty of parking on the street, and several blocks away, at that. But the wow-factor of the property itself, the hospitality of Olga, and the tremendous location make this a fantastic place to choose for your stay in Chania Old Town .

This property is excellent with a great host - Olga. My wife and I have been coming to this same hotel for three years because of Olga. We stayed at a different hotel the first time we visited Chania - Crete. During our next trip to Chania, we decided to try a different hotel for comparison. Our first stay in Casa Leone sealed the deal for us. Once again, you could not find a better host than Olga. Her vast knowledge of Crete is tremendous. Also, the breakfast at this hotel is great.

Olga, Olga, Olga! She was the best. She arranged taxis, made restaurant reservations, and provided the Cretan experience. A great breakfast provided each morning. If no balcony room, there is a balcony in common area that overlooks the harbor. Only rented a car to see sights across the island. Otherwise, no car needed.

The host was incredible and very friendly. In addition to making us feel right at home, she was full of wonderful suggestions about how to explore Chania and the western side of Crete. The hotel is an old Venetian home that has been turned into 5 suites. The rooms were spacious while preserving the Venetian charm of the building. Right outside of the common area, a set of French double doors opens up onto the harbor and the hustle and bustle of the port below. It was an absolutely wonderful experience!

The lobby has a private balcony right over the water where we enjoyed a bottle of wine at night enjoying the sounds and views of the busy boardwalk below. The breakfast provided was absolutely incredible and the staff were right out of a Greek novel, and as friendly and helpful as you can imagine.

This is a great property that my wife and I have stayed in each time that we were in Chania for the past few years. Olga, the property manager was the main reason we always stay at this property. The morning breakfast is always excellent. And Olga has enormous knowledge about Crete - her recommendations about things to do are always on point. It is obvious that we will continue to stay at this property anytime that we are in Chania. To summarize - this nice property is highly recommended by my wife and I to anyone who wants to visit Chania, Crete.

Everything was good. Breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. If you are 6' and over 220lbs. taking a shower will be challenging. Other than that, Casa Leone is a great place in Chania. Get a room with a view to the harbor, you will not regret it.
