"WOW! We had the most amazing, amazing time! Our room was gorgeous and then the hot tub, sauna and pool are so so pretty. The view was so pretty. The big wonderful surprise was how great the restaurant was! I mean we got such a deal on the hotel I wasn’t sure what to expect but the food and view at the restaurant was amazing, the included breakfast was awesome and the staff was SO NICE. And my bed was soooo good. Would recommend over and over! And already have. Thank you for such a lovely stay! :)"

"I really loved our stay at The Hotel Dega. It’s newly purchased and recently reopened so I’m hoping minor changes are still in process for the property. The check in process was a little different with everything being online. Not at all bad, just different. The gentleman working was very helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean, since everything was newly remodeled. The finishing touches may need to be done still like painting the baseboards. Again not horrible, but I hope continued maintenance and service will be in place. I was very surprised that there was not A/C or some sort of cooling system in the room. Our room did not have a screen on the sliding glass door, and that made it difficult to cool off, because we did not want bugs to fly into the room. Maybe a fan or ceiling fan could be provided in the summer months. Having a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room was perfect. The decor was beautiful and tasteful. All in all it was really nice. I will definitely be back, and hope that the owners will keep putting money back into the property so it can become a favorite for people like me who come to Bodega Bay a couple times per year."

"We had a wonderful stay at this Bodega Bay waterfront home. The views were stunning from every room and the decks were a perfect place to enjoy coffee in the morning and sunsets in the evening. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything our family needed. We also loved the convenient location near beaches, trails, boat charters, shops and seafood restaurants. A relaxing and memorable getaway, we would definitely stay here again."

The Occidental Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely lodge right in the center of quaint Occidental. 2 minute walking distance to most restaurants and markets. We had an updated room and it was fresh and was a non-pet use room, which is nice for those with sensitive pet allgergies. Very comfortable bed. Helpful staff. Sometimes front desk is unmanned so review check in/check out instructions."
