"Stayed at the Hotel New York for one night prior to our cruise. The location was perfect as it was walking distance to cruise terminal. It is an historical building right on the pier in Rotterdam. The staff was excellent and the room well-appointed and very clean. There is a nice restaurant and bar in the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel for a pre/post cruise stay or your visit to Rotterdam. "
"This was the first time solo travelling for a while and first time to Rotterdam. I’d read some infavourable reviews before I travelled and was a bit nervous but I chose the hotel because of the location. As soon as I arrived late at night I was greatex a warm and in iting reception bar area with 5 attentive staff who couldn’t have made me feel more welcome! The room was quiet super clean with lovely bedding! Coffee machine and tea provided and ample hanging space. From that moment on the staff couldn’t do enough to mKe me feel welcome. Loan of an umbrella and some sweet treats after coming back in the evening (after I asked if there was any chocolate!) The hotel is right next door to the Museum Park and across the road from Witte de Withstraat - full of restaurents, bars and arts and cultural venues. Super friendly staff and a 10 min wlk from Central Station.
I would definitely choose this hotel again."
