Old Sevier Hotels, Knoxville

"The room was a fair size, adequately furnished. Very comfy beds, pillows, and linens. HVAC worked well. Very quiet, as the place was nearly sold out and we never noticed noise from other guests. The bar was convenient, with a fairly good and diverse menu. (There is an on-site restaurant, but it was freezing in there, so we opted for the bar.) We could have used a bellhop, but none was on duty at the time we checked in, which was odd at 4 pm, as that is prime check-in time. They did, however, have an ample supply of high-quality luggage carts, so we made good use of those. Best thing of all is the ease of accessing the airport and parking garage."

"Visit was during NCAA SOFTBALL REGIONALS. It was the same weekend as University of Tennessee graduation ceremonies. Hilton is located a few blocks from Market Square which is a cool walking park area with lots of history and statues. Plus many shops and restaurants. The city is very nice! The Hilton is classy. My only concern was with the bed. I expected it to be better. It was a bit lumpy. Other rooms may be more updated. The shower was good. Parking is expensive."

"Very clean, great bar and restaurant and lobby. No long elevator lines. City view rooms a little noisy from traffic. Bring earplugs"

"Didn’t know there was construction going Tim at the property prior to booking. Over crowed spaces due to this. Also the commode in our room had someone’s long pubic hair on the back of the toilet seat when the lid closed "

"Proximity to downtown and market square. Appreciated the charging staition for guests but did not feel it was appropriate to charge since paying the fee for stay"

"The hotel was pretty clean for being an older hotel. My only 2 complaints are the bed was one of those awful thin spring mattresses that was SUPER uncomfortable. The other is we were on an end room on the 3rd floor and there was a parking lot light that was right next to the window making it look daylight 24/7 definitely need better windows coverings on at least that room."
