Loved this hotel. The room was spacious and perfect for three people. Lots of cupboard space. The third person had a unique area that felt private to them. Would stay again!

Great location, adjacent central shopping area and short walk to Rue Mercière with lots of dining options.
Rooms were clean & a good size.
Hotel was just lovely with a lively bar. The standout feature was the magnificent old world elevator with glass sides. Overall, the Carlton Hotel Lyon was the perfect package!

Five stars says it all. The location, our first floor courtyard room with its sumptuous décor and mirrored bathroom, robes and toiletries was always well-cared for. Gerard's impeccable advice on the where tos and how tos always courteously imparted, setting the tone for the very agreeable staff at Cour des Loges.

The location in the Saint Paul area of the historic old town in Lyon was terrific. We had a room on the 6th floor and from our small balcony you had a wonderful view of the old town and the Basilica Notre-Dame de Fouviere. The reception staff were helpful and spoke good English too. The only negative we found was the shower over the bath and no anti slip mat in the bath - as we are both retired we thought people with mobility issues would have much trouble using this shower. In fact even though...

The hotel was gorgeous, well maintained and in the perfect location. However, what really stood out was the service. Alexendre and Karim were constantly available, knowledgeable and eager to help with any and all questions. Highly recommend!

This hotel is beautiful! Very well situated for discovering the amazing city of Lyon. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. The privilege room was very spacious, the bed was super comfortable and the view was wonderful. We enjoyed having a cocktail (or two) at the bar near reception where the staff were efficient and friendly.
