"Bella Vista is a small, family run hotel. It’s a bit of a walk to the nearest beach (40 mins) but what it offers more than compensates for this. Eli, Spiros and Melanie are the most welcoming team we have ever had the pleasure to meet. I am sorry not to know the name of the chef, the other breakfast lady and the lovely housekeeper. "We had an amazing time in Crete, and this is partly due to our accomodation and Pantelis and his family. The apartment was bright, and well equipped and the fresh grapes and figs that we had from Pantelis was a lovely surprise when returning from our explorations. The only downside was there is no actual Aircon units in the apartment. This made it quite hard to adjust to the very warm nights, although we did get used to it eventually.
