Grande chambre avec vrai coin cuisine si vous avez prevu les courses. Tout le confort moderne. Literie haut de gamme. Malheureusement un peu isolée, de plus sur les 2 nuits pas de restaurant dans l hotel, on nous a dit à chaque fois que le restaurant ouvrait le lendemain!!! Pratique un peu olé olé. Heureusement dans le village à 1km à pied , charmante taverne bien tenue et repas bien servis

L’hôtel est isolé du village de Kataligari mais au bord d’une route en montée, donc un peu de bruit mais tolérable. Les suites au 2ème étage disposent d’une belle vue à 180 degrés sur les vallées alentours. Piscine agréable. Les choix au buffet du petit-déjeuner sont limités. La patronne est très serviable. Inconvénient : il faut aller en voiture à Archanes village le plus proche pour dîner.

Brilliant stay

We had a fantastic time at Katalagari Country Suites. We were there for three nights and were looked after brilliantly by all the staff there. It is a stunning setting right up in the mountains overlooking the local vineyards and other mountainside the distance. Breakfast was very good with a fair selection of continental style food on offer as well as fresh omelettes if you request. Dinner was also definitely worth trying. They have a daily traditional homemade special which had extremely generous portions. They also catered well for my vegetarian wife. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel is quite rural so you would definitely need a hire car to travel anywhere outside of Katalagari suites as taxis are very expensive in Crete and it isn’t possible to walk anywhere. Overall a brilliant stay and we would both recommend Katalagari Country Suites thoroughly.

Just a little different

A delightful stay, the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. They helped with suggestions as to where to go, and the best time to visit Knossos to avoid the crowds and heat. The breakfast was delicious, lots of local, home cooked specialities. Dinner was good, only one main choice but freshly cooked using local ingredients. Only downside was the noise from the road, but this couldn’t be heard from the room and we soon got used to it! Beautiful gardens, well equipped suite.

Tout était très bien: appartement spacieux avec une très belle une sur la campagne environnante, bon service, petits déjeuners copieux avec des produits de qualité, bonne restauration sur place le soir. Seul bémol: la proximité de la route principale avec le bruit des véhicules qui l'emprunte...

Wonderful staff, and a great room. Lovely food, quite atmosphere. We had a great time, Only thing to bear in mind is that there is nothing to do in the village itself, everything is within a driving distance.

Große Lücke zwischen Preis und Leistung

Leider das entäuschende Hotel unserer Kreta- Rundfahrt. Keine Hilfe beim Gepäck, Appartment mit Stufen trotz ausreichender Verfügbarkeit bei bestehender Gehbehinderung. Whirlpool außer Betrieb, Dusche defekt, Handtücher vom Boden wurden zum wiederholten Gebrauch auf die Leine gehängt. Balkon immer naß wegen tropfenden Hahn. Zur Krönung dann Schwein mit wenig Lamm zu 18€ als "Lamm aus dem traditionellen Ofen" Zum Schluss sollte ich dann die Rechnung mit Krdeitkarte bezahlen, obwohl auf der Buchungsbestätigung von Expedia " 0€ im Hotel" schriftlich bestätigt stand.
