Good big bedrooms and bunk room .. very spacious upstairs and wonderful views of the mountain .. great location to access the town and mountain .. it had everything you could want.. the communications with the host was excellent.

If you are really passionate about exploring everything in and around Mt.Rupaehu and Ohakune you would probably require a good 1 week. Must do Tongariro Alpine crossing,Waitonga falls, try out chocolate Eclair at Ohakune-world famous in New Zealand.
The mountain rocks bar and cafe’, we went there for dinner. I had the seafood chowder and Rob had the steak, the food is to die for and the service is fantastic. Would highly recommend grazing here to family and friends .
Nice little town during summer
A drive up the Old Mountain Road gives the option of several different length walks.
