low price was good. Place was clean. We had number of problems. TV not working properly and then difficult to operate Roku. Got a parking ticket because of not understanding cleaning on street I parked. Air cooling system not operating properly. No view out any of the windows. Very disappointing. A big mistake.

Great Place, just not by the beach
Very clean, updated, beautiful unit. Easy to access. Parking was a bit of a pain, but not too bad. We were just extremely disappointed that the 4 minute walk to the beach they claimed was just giant rocks with strong waves. It’s a 36 minute walk to any actual sandy beach. Don’t be deceived by pictures, or claims that any beach within a 20 minute walk is acceptable.

Everything was perfect for me to get some work done by the ocean I loved that I could hear it from the apartment. I came in very late so I was extremely confused about the parking and the apartment actually being on the street above pacific Then I tried to park in the garage just for safety at that hour. The lifts in the garage are very noisy I could hear another party struggling with parking there as well May want to clarify the garage and parking location in the information

Dear Sumner, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent visit to one of our properties. I was very concerned to read that you had the impression the the home you stayed in was on the beach. While most of our homes have direct beach access this particular property does not. It does have amazing views of the ocean, but it does not have direct access to the beach. You mentioned that is was advertised that way. I did look and this particular property is not listed as "beachfront". In the description, it indicates it is a less than 5-minute walk to the beach. Additionally, unfortunately there is only street parking with the particular unit you reserved. That is listed on the description page on the website. We wish we had known about your concerns while you were staying with us. It would have given us the opportunity to fix that TV and to assist you with parking. I do hope we have the opportunity to have you as a guest again in the future. Oceanside Loft
The unit is located in a good location. The oceanside pier is down the street as well as a park. The unit itself is clean and cute, but has a TON of light coming in at night. It is already light in there at night with all lights off but if a neighbor has a light in outside, it lights up the entire apartment and there’s no way to block it. We had no batteries in our remotes. The gate code on the back was incorrect. Near the oceanside pier it was kinda sketchy. We were harassed while we had our baby and dog with us. Be careful walking around on the streets.

Clean, Convenient but dreary
The location was nice and in a wonderful, safe neighborhood. The location is mostly quiet. The BEST third wave coffee roaster and shop is within a 4/10 mile walk with a pretty great craft brewery immediately next door. Within a short drive there is an inventive and delicious taco restaurant. Other great dining was up to 4 miles away and well worth it. The beaches in the neighborhood are mostly rocky but a wonderful sandy beach is up the coast a short drive. The unit was very clean and stocked with nearly all the houseware one would want. The unit is very small. It would be very cramped with more than 2 adults. Parking is only on the street with access to the unit up a staircase and a short walk to the building and then a walk of 20 feet down to the unit. Loading and unloading can be done through a gate on the alley but no parking is available there. The unit is on the dark side of the building. The only direct sunlight in the morning is through a frosted window in the loft. There was no outside area to enjoy morning coffee or evening beverages at the unit but a lovely park with playground equipment is a couple blocks away. There were minor maintenance issues that were inconvenient, such as a toilet paper holder that didn't actually hold the tp roll. The biggest disappointment was that the internet was down for at least 36 hours. Otherwise, the internet was fast enough to do whatever we needed to do.

Great place!
The place was very nice! Just steps from the beach and the unit provided nice amenities (e.g., pots and pans, detergent, towels). We really enjoyed our stay! We would only recommend that the sinks be unclogged periodically (they drained a bit slowly), and that blinds or a curtain be placed on the front door. The front door had a large glass panel that people could see the inside of the place through. Overall though, wonderful place to stay!

Cozy spot for couples getaway
My partner and I loved this rental! It was the perfect getaway for a couple of SD locals over the holidays. Close enough to the action in Oceanside, while quiet enough to feel in our own little world. Highly recommended and we would rent again!

Good place for the night
There were no instructions on which door to use to enter our loft. There were two visible doors corresponding with the correct address we were given and we could see people inside so we thought they double booked us. After speaking with the people staying there and showing them that we had booked the same address, they said to look down the walkway because there was another door down there. Our door was down a dark pathway with no visibility to see that there was a door down there at all. It was decently clean. The bathroom wasn’t the best. Overall, if you’re just there to have a place to sleep at the end of the night (which is what we needed), this is a good place for the price.

Unit was clean and ready , management and maintainance gets a 10 out of 10. AC was fixed immediately. Would have been nice to have window to look out but we were outside most of time so it was not a problem. Only recommendation would be to not put bug and ant traps out as my dog found every single one of them!😁

This is a nice place for a couple. 1 bed & small living area. Floor was sandy upon arrival & throughout the stay even though we swept, but we were on the beach. Check in and out was 100% virtual. Parking was below the unit on the street. I was nervous about that but it was okay too. I would say suited for a couple best. Great location.

Short but Sweet
We didn’t stay long, but the description was accurate. Communication with the property management was easy and they were responsive. One thing I did not pay attention to in the listing is that there is no natural light. This made it feel a tiny bit like a basement or dungeon. Just something to keep in mind if that matters to you. Also, the front door shade did not cover the side, so if someone wanted to peek in through the door they would be able to see inside the space.

Perfect place for the price
This quaint studio style rental is perfect for a small family and is in an excellent location, safe neighborhood, etc. you walk out and can hear the ocean waves! It’s half way between Carlsbad and the Oceanside pier. There were many things I had to contact the rental company for-their response time was fantastic but I just didn’t think there should be so much that I’d have to contact them for (AC not working, electrical outlet coming out, two towels for four people, lamp not working…)… still for the price, I’d absolutely stay here again!

Cute place, as expected & clean. A bit hard to find in the back (4 separate condos with same address) - this loft was in the back by the gate near the alley (convenient for unloading had we known). TV had plenty of channels and kitchen had everything we needed.

Nice location but nowhere to sit outside
We liked our stay but missed not having a place outside to sit. Also the windows are glazed so you can not see outside. That’s because of the closeness of the building next to it. I would prefer curtains rather than glazed windows. Overall the management for the property was responsive and helpful.

Great location and very quiet. Perfect COVID getaway!
Check in was delayed since cleaning crew was late, but it was smooth sailing after that. The location was great since we were tucked away from everyone. Easy walk to the beach, parking was easy, and the staff were attentive. I highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a low key vacation. It was exactly what we needed.

I can’t say enough good things about the location of this property. Just steps away from the beach and pet friendly. I had a few hiccups finding the property as I arrived after dark. The best way to access the property for unloading is via the alley and your main parking will be on the street below the home. Excellent communication with any hiccups we ran into during our stay. Will definitely stay again..

Very clean and well maintained. Kind of hard to find based on the address given and instructions for check-in but once you do find it, it is well worth it. All of your basics and necessities are provided and only a short walk to the beach and great sunset views. It was easy, and convenient and private. It is much like you have your own home away from home.

Beautiful property and beautiful area.
The people next to us had a party that basically lasted all weekend. Then the day they were checking out they had at least 30 bags of trash and were slamming the gate and making so much noise removing it that they woke up my whole family and we had to ask if they could please stop slamming the gate. With this aside the rest of the stay was perfect.

Parking far away and smaller unit then thought
They didn’t put the check mark on the door code on some of my correspondence so I’d you used the email info it’s not there but if you used the app then it was. Parking is down a huge stare case 1/2 block away. They neglected to tell you there is a very close gate in the alley behind to unload all your stuff and they do not give you the gate code. Thank goodness the person preparing the unit we there to explain all this to us. It was smaller but cozy than I thought. Beautiful property my dog loved it ! Park near buy just across train tracks. There is NO DOGS allowed on the beaches anywhere near by. Have to go 20 miles south to the nearest one.

Pictures from site showed balcony w/ view of beach, that was not this unit, this location was in the back with NO VIEW and NO Balcony! They emailed me all my check in information, however did not give us the gate code to get in, had to go around to front of property. Check in email stated there was a BBQ and a DVD player, and there was not either of those items at this location. Another party checked in to the unit across from us (Same exact layout) and they were complaining about the same issues, pictures misrepresented this location. I was willing to pay the price of this location, because it was to have a view of the beach from the balcony (this is what you showed in your pictures of this unit). I feel I totally overpaid and you misrepresented this unit.
