This was my second time staying at the hotel and it was not a good experience!! The tv service didn’t work my entire time there and the desk person wasn’t too concerned because he just started or just didn’t care!! I gave it a second chance because I like the area and the closeness to the beach. The rooms need to have the carpet shampooed!! I have 2 French or and love animals but it you are going to allow pets the least you can do with a carpeted wis clean the carpet every now and again!!! It makes the room smell really bad!! The garbage cans are always overflowing, at least the times I stayed there! Other than that it’s quiet and could be such a better experience with a few changes in upkeep. The carpet is a must though!!!

Second time staying here and I'm happy to say that that it was a great experience. The room was super clean and the guy that checked us in was so friendly. Love it here , there's a restaurant across the street and a liquor store next door, so convenient .

It was nice and quiet and private, I’ve stayed at a few hotels in the area and I appreciated those ascents!! The room had a frig and microwave which was a definite plus!! The room was clean the carpet could have been vacuumed a bit more but overall it was a pleasant experience and I would stay there again!! In fact I’m sure I will die to my work life.

Better off at a motel 6 Over priced This place was destroyed and nasty. Broken door hinges holes in the door that were improperly fixed Blood and boogers on the wall Stained towels and sheets Missing light bulbs Worker didn’t answer the door in the morning for assistance. Won’t recommend to anyone

It was like going to a 1990s hotel and paying for a 2024 hotel Our ac was broken missing buttons would turn on and off. Hot water was sometime working sometimes not. No iron No coffee machine.

It was close to everywhere such as beach and simple restaurants. Price is not thay expensive. However ,there is no light bulb with night lamp and I requested for it but the staff says none. I also asked some ice but they said it is not running due to out of season . Top of the that , I had to opon the window every time we come in the room due to funky smell in the room. I don't think I would stay next time.

The blanket was not clean, there was a suspicious white stain on it, there was what i can only hope is cornflakes on the ground around the toilet,dried urine on the toilet, and a short dark curly hair in the tub.

Great locale walkable to beach. Cute 50’s theme diner and Mexican restaurant walkable. No parking for our RV! We got creative and made it work for the night. Clean room, great deep bathtub with hot water…though no washcloths in the room, and the person at the desk wasn’t the most hospitable. Super comfortable beds! Overall, we would definitely stay again coming through Pismo Beach!

The carpet looked dirty. Needs to be replaced. Bathroom wall had holes and need to be fixed with new shelf’s. We could hear others in their rooms, therefore, we needed to leave the heater/fan on all night to drown out noise.

The room we stayed in was a little dingy looking. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned much. We found a lot of hair on the floor and in the tub. However the beds were great and clean.

I have stayed in multiple places over the last week on a road trip and I have to say this property was the biggest let down and worst stay on my trip. Where do I even begin. It was such an awful time. The shower curtain was dirty and had visible mold on it. The shower didnt work and was very cheap and poor quality. When I arrived no one was there and there was another person waiting for someone to arrive to check in. There was a sign on the door saying they would be back in an hour with no number to call or time to return. It was extremely frustrating and the room was not refundable. The bed only had a sheet on it and another thin blanket, there was no duvet on the bed. It looks cute on the outside but is extremely poorly run and the guy at the front desk was very rude and explained he was the only person working there and had three jobs, after waiting in the dark and the rain for an hour for him to come back to check in. Before the guy who could actually check me in showed up, another guy showed up who was drunk and was trying to let me in my room but his key card didnt work. It was a total nightmare. I asked if I could have a late checked out because I was so tired from driving 6 hours, and he said NO - and that each hour over would be another 20 dollars. I couldn't believe it, especially after how terrible the check in process was. There are yappy dogs next to the check in area that bark uncontrollably while you are trying to talk with the front desk guy.

A great deal for the price, the manager was very helpful and polite, the beach is very close and the room had a roku with free wifi. I would highly reccomend it as an affordable stay.

Overall, very positive
Don't know if it's as cheap when it's not the off season, but in February it felt like we were getting away with something. It's a simple room but clean and charming. We suspect housekeeping hadn't finished our room because we later found out there WERE supposed to be towels in there, but the office was friendly and easy to work with. I should mention that although the room felt perfectly clean, we did find, about halfway through our stay, hidden behind the microwave, a pair of hypodermic needles and a tourniquet band. That's the sort of thing that really should not happen. But we loved being a short walk to the lagoon, the beach, the Rock and Roll Diner, and an easy drive to anything else you'd want.

President's weekend mini getaway.
Shower and refrigerator was not clean but attendant was apologetic and responsive and took care of cleaning it right away. Coffeemaker requested but not available. No complimentary soaps, or shampoo normally found in hotels. Attendant said he is by himself , new manager and doing everything on his own. He promised improved service, better outcome on future bookings.
