This is an excellent property in an excellent location, quiet, safe and secure, but the most important thing of all is the hospitality that is offered by the hands-on owner, Sra. Hernandez. She will make sure that everything is in order and will go above and beyond the call of duty to make your stay there a truly wonderful experience.

Casa Esmeralda is located in one of the most convenient locations in Oaxaca City within walking distance to many places of interest such as the Zocalo, the magnificent Santo Domingo Church and Museo de las Culturas, pedestrian walkways, Mercado Benito Juarez, the Cathedral, and a multitude of interesting shops, galleries and museums. Yet felt completely safe, quiet and secure. The room was impeccable in term of cleanliness with crisp white sheets and bedding and plenty of fresh towels. The bathroom was ultra modern with plenty of hot water. There was plenty of clean storage and a full size ironing board and iron. I also enjoyed watching YouTube and Netflix from the smart TV in each room. The staff went overboard to make my stay comfortable and care fee. Much appreciated after a negative experience with an airbnb. There are many excellent restaurants nearby including Zandunga right across the street. Don't miss the view from the upstairs terrace or the second floor rooms with walk-out to the terrace. A great place to stay to see the sights of downtown or a place for weary travelers to refresh. An overall very positive experience for me.

Nuesta estancia fue excelente, cuenta con una ubicacion inmejorable esta muy cerca de puntos turisticos de interes, restaurantes cercanos, servicio practicamente personalizado, muy seguro el personal esta siempre al pendiente de las necesidades de los huespedes. Muy confortable. Y de arquitectura muy bonita.
