We stayed here in town for cardinals games. The hotel was very clean. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The pool area is nice and we enjoyed the breakfast. I would go back

Drury Plaza Hotel St. Louis at the Arch
The breakfast food was not very good. The breakfast area was kind of dirty. There were probably a couple of hundred people going through there touching the tongs, but there was not a single hand sanitizer to be found. And this was at the height of flu season. Pretty gross.

Clayton Plaza Hotel & Extended Stay
Unfortunately this hotel experience was a disappointment. We were given a room that was locked from inside, and when I complained this has never happened to us, the staff remarked, "It happens to us all the time!" - which did not say a lot about the property upkeeping or management. We arrived at the townhouse and the bed sheets on every bed were stained and had hair on them. The floors had garbage on the floor. The bathroom curtains had mold and the toilets were dirty. We didn’t take towels since it was listed on there but the ones they had were dirty we had to go buy some. ...
