"My husband and I stayed here for Valentine’s Day and had an amazing experience from check-in to check-out. We booked the King Studio Suite and absolutely loved it. The room was very clean, smelled fresh, and felt spacious with the high ceilings. The separate bedroom was a great feature and made the stay even more comfortable. The amenities were excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we slept so well. The full breakfast the next morning was a wonderful bonus, and the dining area was beautiful and inviting. We will definitely be back and next time, we plan to bring the rest of our family for a quick getaway. "

"The first room I was given smelled of cigarettes and the floor had a lot of crumbs on it. I requested and was given a second room. The gentleman at the front counter, went to the room with me to inspect it and it wreaked of cigarettes. He was very apologetic and found me another room. I really appreciated his assistance and customer service. Thank you."

"The property(LYH) was beautiful! Our communication with our host was great and they answered all our questions. Staying at LYH was pretty much like being at home. The home has been renovated and looks quite fresh and new. Checking in and out was easy and every amenity was provided. They had even shoveled for us. The outside was as nice as the inside and has a great space for you and your pets. On our visit, one of the best features was the great heating, since it was quite cold and snowy while we were there. The property is close to everything in Ferndale, close to the Detroit Zoo and the Royal Oak community. The neighboorhood is quiet and easy to navigate.We really enjoyed our visit and will be staying again."

"They were roaches all in my room soon as I cut the light on. They were crawling out of the microwave and also the dishwasher my girl panicked as soon as she seen it. The staff are wishy-washy sometimes I guess depending their mood they knock extremely early and very hard in the morning and sometimes even catch a attitude when you say something about it like damn I thought checkout was at 11-12 why are you banging at 8-9? Please I do not recommend this hotel at all it’s cheap kinda if you wanna say but don’t waste your time. They also got into it with a lady because they gave her the wrong price for a one night stay at the room charged her $400 they will scam you be safe "
