Come and get away for a month and stay at our lovely house in Oakland by Lake Merritt. Perfect for a family or two couples.

Located two blocks above the Lake (3.26 mi around) which is ideal for a beautiful stroll, jogging, boating and tons of great cafes and restaurants are in walking distance.

Elegant craftsman built in 1916 with 3 large bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, a big back yard with a hot tub, ping ping table, BBQ, upper and lower decks for dining all under a lit canopy.

Monthly Rental preferred.

  • Since 2010 the walking path and landscaping around the entire lake has been upgraded. It's now very beautiful. During daylight hours it's safe to walk around the entire lake, along with all the families, musicians, runners, and people walking their dogs (and once I saw a duck on a leash being taken for a swim). The gondola is often out at sunset.
