"This was a great clean, safe property, with great staff, and amenities. Very aesthetically pleasing, with a classy look and great art. The down side is the $55 a night valet parking fee which is high but worth it, if you value your automobile, and your safety. Also, the valet staff lost my leather key fob cover, which I hope will be brought up as a teaching moment in their next staff meeting. Attention to details when dealing with car keys is needed."

"The facility is beautiful. I was greeted warmly as soon as my UBER pulled up to the entrance. The check in was fast and easy (thank you Gianfranco for remembering me and being so kind) the room was beautiful and spotless. The bed and linens were so nice and comfortable. My partner got a fantastic massage and spa treatment, she always tells me the spa and the people who work there are amongst the best she has ever encountered, and she is a self described “spa junkie”. The fact that we can enjoy a resort like experience with a beautiful pool, tennis and pickle ball courts, gym and spa at the foot of the Oakland/Berkeley hills is really fantastic. The housekeeping and support staff are likewise great, warm and always available for any last minute requests like a vase for flowers. I love the Claremont and we will be back for sure. 5 stars all the way."
