Recently renovated home in Alameda island with a 15 minute ferry to SF. The lower level of this beautifully restored home in Alameda is a 15 minute walk to the Alameda Beach and Crown Memorial Park. Webster street is a 10 minute walk where you will find an abundance of cafes, restaurants, bars and boutiques. Park Street is the main historical downtown where you will find many boutiques, restaurants, cafes, bars, etc. The home has a walkscore of 82:

Loved this spot for exploring Alameda - which itself is a great city - and the rest of the Bay Area. Impeccably clean, adorable, and peaceful. A perfect place to come home all week to after exploring the area.

Garden apartment in lovely neighborhood

Beautifully equipped 1-bedroom apartment. Clean, high-end fixtures in quiet neighborhood w/ample parking. Great water pressure in the shower, comfortable bed. Sleeper couch was adequate. Ground coffee was provided; very much appreciated. The garden is a special treat; mature fruit trees, hydrangea plants, trumpet vines, and honeysuckle…just lovely.

Very small Backyard Appartment

The property is clean, has all that you need and is functional. When neighbors above are not careful, you hear a lot of noise when they walk and this was annoying. Especially when they do not sleep early. The last day we had noise until 2 AM. The host was responsive.

LOVED it!!

My friend and I stayed while visiting her son at Cal. The house is in a great location. Shops, restaurants are a short drive (or walk) away. It is also conveniently close to San Fransisco and Berkeley. The owner was VERY helpful and answered any questions we had quickly. The house itself is beautifully decorated, super clean and the bed is beyond comfy! Huge shower, built in refrigerator, and lots of windows. The charming backyard has rocking chairs to sit and enjoy all the trees, flowers and plants. If we go visit again, we will be back!!

Little Secret Place in lively Alameda, California

I would personally like to tell everyone that this is a very clean easy to get to rental(I need 10 minutes from the Oakland international airport) . It is so easy to get to some of those wonderful restaurants as well as a Shopping Center post office, and a lot of beautiful little coffee shops. The cottage is on the bottom level that overlooks orange trees, Bougainvillea‘s, jasmine and a variety of other plants that are so inviting along with two chairs. Everything you need is right there on a quick trip to the Shopping Center will help complete your trip , we are also very close to the ferry. The relaxing and inexpensive ferry can take you right into San Francisco or Sausalito depending on where you would like to venture. Thank you to the owner for accommodating me with my dates… When I visit Alameda again, I plan on staying here for a second visit!
