Our home is a beautiful modern sanctuary with a dramatic, expansive view of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Bay. With an open floor plan and vaulted ceilings, the first floor is perfect for relaxing, cooking, and peering off our deck at the forested canyon, cityscape and skyline. The first floor also has a remodeled bathroom, two bedrooms (both of which can be used as in home offices) as well as a dedicated office space. Downstairs, we have the master bedroom and bath, laundry, and fourth and fifth rooms plus bath that are perfect for children. In our backyard is a small grove of California's iconic redwood trees, which make the home feel like a protected forest refuge. We love our home and hope you will too.

Minutes from world class hiking trails and bike routes, it is on the edge of forests and parks in the Oakland hills while only minutes driving from the East Bay’s trendiest neighborhoods. We frequently go on hikes or bike rides directly from the house and love exploring Sibley Volcanic Preserve, Redwood Regional Park, and Huckleberry Botanic Preserve. The home is a 15-minute drive to downtown Oakland and 30 minutes from San Francisco.
